Fun Fact of the Day: When I was 12, I went with my grandmother to visit my mom's sister in Colorado. One night while I was there, I turned the shower on and waited for it to warm up. While it did, I laid down on the floor mat because I was a little cold. After what I thought was a very short time, I heard my grandma call me and say it was time for me to get out. It turned out that I had been asleep on the floor for at least 30 minutes while the shower was running.

Before I begin, let us remember those lost on this fateful day 15 years ago.

Because of this, many of my classmates during my early school years were extremely jealous of me because I was literally the only kid in the class who didn't have a brother or sister. Fun Fact of the Day: I own a rather unusual piano. It's a compact grand piano built in the 1930's that only has 85 keys instead of the usual 88 - the three highest notes are not on this model. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten it tuned in over 2 years, and I miss how beautiful it sounds...

Fun Fact of the Day: I currently own a Mills brand 10-cent-per-play slot machine built sometime around WWII. I received it after my grandfather passed away in 2010 and it still works like magic.

For those of you who follow NHL hockey in North America, or if you happen to just be a fan, you may or may not remember that last season, Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks had a streak of 26 games with at least one point per game, which set a record not only for the Blackhawks franchise, but for American-born NHL players and active NHL players, as well. On January 3rd of this year, Patrick Kane was given a golden puck in commemoration of this point streak.
