Fun Fact of the Day: 9-5-2016 · 6:20pm Sep 5th, 2016
For those of you who follow NHL hockey in North America, or if you happen to just be a fan, you may or may not remember that last season, Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks had a streak of 26 games with at least one point per game, which set a record not only for the Blackhawks franchise, but for American-born NHL players and active NHL players, as well. On January 3rd of this year, Patrick Kane was given a golden puck in commemoration of this point streak.
Fun Fact of the Day: I actually happened to be attending that very game where Kane received his golden puck. On top of that, it also happened to be goaltender Corey Crawford's 300th game in the NHL, which was made even sweeter when he and the rest of the team shut out the Ottawa Senators 3-0.
