Well i have yet to see it, but there's another anime made by the same people called Kill la Kill, and i have been told it's even better than gurren lagann. But honestly it will be tough for any character to ever top Kamina for me, he was just so awesome, and even in death his impact on the characters and the storyline was so intense.
