I just picked up a very sad Little Witch from daycare with a big blue bandaid on her knee. Apparently she took a tumble from something earlier today and scored a couple of bruises. She doesn't want say what she fell from, but I suspect it was her broom.

Being a working parent takes up a lot of your free time, no doubt about it. Especially if you are pretty much running the show all by yourself. Still, after I put Little Witch to bed and finish up all the daily chores, I always manage to dedicate an hour or two of every evening to some R&R. Usually that is enough for me to write around 1000 words.
