Well... right now I'm just waiting on a reply before I can finish Chapter 5 of SaSF... Of course, the length is pretty good as it is, so I might just wait to resolve some tension until Chapter 6.

One of my roommates also writes a fair bit and has invited me to go with her to a writing group tonight. I'm pleased about this! I'm really looking forward to it.

Mwahahaha! My mom has been reading over SaSF for me, thus I was able to put out two chapters so quickly!

I'm SO freaking pleased with how this is turning out! But now, the laptop must be set aside so I can do some housework. Don't worry... I'll be back to writing soon!

So.. Much though I am fully capable of catching pretty much everything grammar-related on my own... I find myself in need of a proof-reader/beta... Pretty much everyone I've asked of my friends is super busy and I really want to get this story banged out...

That aside, Chapter 3 is finished and while I wait for SOMEONE to proof it, I'm working on Chapter 4.

So, pretty much immediately upon finishing Crystal Wings, I started work on the sequel, Steady as She Flies. I had it written for a while before submitting it, but after about a week of getting no proof-readers feedback, I threw my hands up and posted it anyways. So far, it looks promising, since I've not gotten any horrible comments about it and someone has already added it to their favorites! I'm already working on chapter 3, but I want someone to proof-read chapter 2

SO! I know I celebrated finishing Crystal Wings after I posted Chapter 6, but the epilogue is now up and I'm super happy with it! Spectria's already playing around with some other ideas and I'm hoping to get more written for Witching Hour and Monkey Wrench! I may wind up adding more OCs as I go, or revisiting ones I've already added - like Emerald Charmer and Trick Step... I'm strangely partial to the latter.

I do have another one-shot-ish idea forthcoming, to start branching into Calm Wind's Wonderverse... so that's something at least... But... SO! I've finished chapter 4, thanks to my dear friend's recommendation that I split the pre-op conversation off and give it its own chapter. This has had the added benefit of bringing more of my other OC, Monkey Wrench, into the light. I've come to the decision that Monkey Wrench, while a definite co-star, is decidedly not the main character of Crystal Wings. That honor goes definitively to Witching Hour.
