To upload your avatar, you need to go to the "Edit Avatar" button that appears on the drop-down menu when you hover your mouse over your name on the green bar. You will be given two choices... to upload an image from your computer or from the Internet. In either case, you need to be sure that it is the right size in terms of memory and pixels, and you need to be sure it is a common file type. If you are trying to upload from the Internet, be sure that you are including the entire URL when you copy/paste it into the URL field; you must include the "http://" and all parts. I hope this helps!
