Another week another episode. This time we see Applejack having issues with getting enough time to spend an afternoon with Rarity at the Ponyville spa. It was an interesting idea to put these two together again, since the last time was back in season 4 with Trenderhoof. That episode had a lot of comedy as well as a few fourth wall breaks and a pretty good message. Mainly, being yourself and people that are similar and like you for you will naturally flock to you.

We've had these episodes as far back as the season 2 finale and while some have been good (like Crusaders of the Lost Mark and Magical Mystery Cure) there are others that have been not so much (Pinkie Pride). Another episode another review. This time we see Rainbow complete her lifelong dream of joining the Wonderbolts, and it goes wrong. Firstly, Rainbow Dash is my favorite character in the entire series. I love how her character is usually very brash and full of herself but that there are times when she lets that down and shows a truer part of herself. With this episode we see a return to the moral of the premier in Starlight's first central episode. When I learned that Starlight would have to make the first friend since Sunburst and I thought it was really great to see that the writers were able to work such an entertaining character like Trixie into the story. Another episode, another review. This time we get to see Spike doing something that actually has implications for the whole of Equestria. I've never really cared about the Spike episodes very much. I don't hate them but I'm not a huge fan of them either. They always seem to have the same message: "You should think of others and how to do kind things without expecting something in return." Good message but that has been about all the Spike episodes.

Week two of new episodes and I think it was a much stronger episode than the premier. Me, my brother, and sister are all fans of this show and because of that I always enjoy the episodes where we get relationship building between siblings.
