The tweaks are completed for Scars of the Quill. Again, they aren't much, just some minor edits for word usage and spelling, plus the addition of a couple named characters who will come into play in Scars of the Sun and in Many Happy Reunions. One of those characters was one that I was initially going to include in the story - High Note - but cut from the first version released. Then I thought about it, and put him back in.

As of right now, I've got most of Scars of the Sun done and in the can. What will be the first chapter is ready to go, barring review for spelling and grammar checks, and most of the second and third chapters are ready as well. So yeah, I'll definitely start posting it a week from today, though I'm a tiny bit worried that I won't be able to get one chapter out a week.

And I honestly hope that folks don't mind that this one is short compared to Scars of the Quill.

Been thinking about some stuff and...well, I think Scars of the Quill is going to get a couple tweaks. Nothing big, nothing spectacular, just some edits for spelling and grammar...and maybe a scene or two expanded upon. Plus some material that I initially cut getting put back in, albeit in an amended form. This is mostly to set things up for the following two stories, Scars of the Sun and Many Happy Reunions.

I've worked out where each episode from the show's first three seasons fit together chronologically for the Quiververse (for a second time, damn me and my impatience a few months back), and am now going to be pegging and slotting in the loose bits from the Expanded Universe that I've opted to incorporate into the Quiververse. Some I've already sorted out the placement for, some I have a rough idea on, and a few I'm going to end up just cutting out for one reason or another.

Barring an act of God or some terrible incident on my end, July 27th will see the release of the first chapter (of two or three) for Scars of the Sun. With any luck, I'll follow that up either in late August or sometime in September with Many Happy Reunions...which I fear will be a much longer story.

Still, at least I've brought good news.

I'm getting close to restoring the work on it that I'd lost prior to losing all of my files a few months back, close enough that it's almost completely restored. That being said, it's looking more and more like a particular episode from Season Four won't be occurring within the events of the Quiververse in any way, shape or fashion.

There's something I've been wondering about for a while when it comes to the current iteration of My Little Pony - astronomy. We know it's a thing - Twilight had a telescope back in Golden Oak Library, and there's at least one named constellation (Orion), and you don't bother with names for constellations if you don't care about stargazing.
