Everfree Northwest! · 4:27am Jul 3rd, 2013

As mentioned in my previous blog post, I will be heading to Everfree Northwest! Tonight I will be getting my affairs in order before I depart tomorrow afternoon. I will be in Seattle for the better part of the 4th, assuming the border goes well, so you can find me either grabbing my badge or at the pre-con meetup they're planning. I'll probably make a blog post on my return.

See you there!

GaryOak, Conventions, and (Hopefully) You! · 4:04am Jun 25th, 2013

Well guys, summer has started, and that means it's convention season! Are you guys going to be at any horse cons this year? If your answer is yes, then don't hesitate to come say hi if you see me. I will be attending Everfree Northwest in Seattle, BronyCon in Baltimore, and I will be on the fanfiction panel along with Horse Voice (and perhaps others) at BronyCan in Vancouver.

So, about that Equestria Girls... · 5:38pm Jun 17th, 2013

I went and saw this movie with Horse Voice and a couple other bronies. We had quite a fun road trip, which included us spotting somebody dressed up as Mario standing on the side of the road and somebody driving on the wrong side of the road.

I just got such a sweet birthday gift! · 7:25pm Jun 11th, 2013

Hello readers,

As probably none of you know, I will be 26 years old tomorrow (June 12). Why am I making this blog post? Well, a very good friend of mine, Miss v-invidia, came back from a whole month of complete absense because of <serious reasons redacted>. I was happy enough to see her again, but she actually remembered my birthday. On top of that, she was really sweet and drew me an amazing picture of me writing!

New Story in the Wings · 5:53am May 26th, 2013

Hey, guys. Sorry for the very long lack of updates around here. Firstly, I would just like to say that I am not dead, and I have not been entirely idle in my writing endeavors. After publishing my most recent story, which disappointingly bombed pretty hard by my standards, I took a fairly long break--just over a week--where I didn't really do much of anything. Once that stint was over, I decided to go right back at it.

So, what's to come?

Braeburn Tastes the Rainbow 2 & Other WIP Stuff · 6:56am May 3rd, 2013

Yep, you guys read that correctly. Due to the nature of the ending of Braeburn Tastes the Rainbow, many readers were left demanding a sequel. I have caved to such demands. As of writing this, the incomplete first draft is sitting at about 4,000 words and is my first attempt at writing this sort of story with three participants. Tentative publishing date is this coming Monday, but I make no promises; I won't rush release an unfinished story. Doesn't mean I won't be pushing hard, though.

Well, Imagine That... · 8:47pm Apr 23rd, 2013

Something completely unexpected happened today. The Living Library Player Society decided to perform a live reading of The Sundering. How they found such an ambiguous story, and then deemed it worthy of a reading, I'll never know, but I'm grateful all the same. I've never received such an honour before, so I'm not sure how to react beyond the generic "yay".

Another University Writing Semester Draws to a Close · 9:47pm Apr 19th, 2013

I know it's a bit early, but my classes have officially ended as of April 14th, so now I am simply playing the waiting game for my grades. As for specific marks, I have not officially received my theatre mark, but it was written on my script that I received back on the last day, and I passed with an A+, 100% mark. It's the easiest class in the entire school, so that makes sense. In my script writing class (first-year), I have no idea what my mark is, because that professor takes a decade to

I Entered a Short Fiction Contest Yesterday · 6:47pm Apr 6th, 2013

After a great deal of deliberation, I decided to enter a local short fiction competition. The rules are fairly simple: $20 entry fee, 2,000 word limit, cannot contain copyrighted material (so no fanfiction), and must not be a previous entry, entered into another contest, or published.
