As much as I want to work on the next chapter of Clean Slate, I have other work that's going to have to take priority for at least another week. I might have a few moments to write over lunch, but not enough to get out another chapter in a timely manner.

But I'll be happy to talk about the story here! It's fairly open-ended, so there's a lot of room to incorporate reader suggestions.

A good portion of the time I'm typing Applejack's name, I miss the J key and type Applehack.

So what kind of pony would Applehack be?

Now that the holiday celebrations are over, I have a day off tomorrow, and a blizzard in the forecast. That sounds like perfect writing conditions! Expect to learn what happened to Diamond Tiara in the next chapter of Clean Slate, sometime tomorrow.

In the episode Magic Duel, when Zecora mentioned the six, my first thought was of a different six. From there came a simple story.

I decided to do that before writing the third chapter. Don't worry, I'm still expecting to post that third chapter tomorrow....

After reading plenty of stories with the physics-defying antics of Pinkie Pie, I had the idea of seeing how somepony else would react to exhibiting these same powers. This story isn't a one-shot; it will probably run five chapters. And it's not the other story I've been working on, and mentioning in other posts here.

The first chapter made it through moderation quickly. I'm working on the second chapter now.

I really didn't want to turn on the television and see nothing but election coverage. So, instead, I wrote another one-shot story. There are some real world concepts that just don't translate well into a cartoon world.

A longer story will eventually be posted; I'm still waiting for a cover illustration.

Some new stories are appearing on the front page. This time, I don't have anything waiting in the queue.

I have several longer story ideas in the works. I'm not sure which one I'm going to post first.

I dared to write a one-shot story based on an iconic picture of two background ponies. I like the fanon generated by this picture, but my story is something different.
