Shattered Hearts made the feature box.
Wow. I am truly humbled. Thank you, one and all.
What a great way to start the day.
Does this look infected to you?

Well, that went quick...
Normally, in my experience, when I submit a story it takes anywhere from six to twenty-four hours for it to get approved. This time, it went up about a half-hour after I posted it. I am going to take that as a good thing.
So, there are spoilers below. Beware.
Let's go over the good points first. Pinkie Pie was great. The "Alicorn Party!" scream and--above all else--the spit-take moment were wonderful. It was also nice that Celestia got a song. (I'm a big Celestia fan if you haven't noticed.)
So, about the rest of it...
Okay, after reading feedback, doing some time thinking it over, and doing a LOT of time plotting this past weekend on both stories, I've decided to put a hold on Round Three and move ahead with Who Rules?: Shattered Hearts. And yes, I will be keeping the Who Rules? at the front of it, as it does become a very relative title for both Shattered Hearts AND the book that follows it. (In other words, I've begun plotting out two books in the series...)
Okay, my longest story on the site to date, Travels and Travesties, is now complete. Which means it's time for me to start a new story!
And a Happy Holiday to everypony!
Hope everyone is having a great day. And, as always, thanks for the support.
The latest volume of the Who Rules? saga is up. Well, the first chapter of it is up. This one takes a bit of a different approach in both tone and style, and I hope everyone enjoys it.
Hello all!
First off, a BIG thank you to everyone who replied to my blog post. I very much appreciate it. And between those and the posts on the final chapter of The Ascended, it appears that everyone wants more of the Who Rules? saga. Personally, this makes me very happy. I truly enjoy writing that series, I was just afraid that you guys were getting burned out on it. (I'm not close to burned out on it. I just don't want to beat a dead horse. No pun intended.)
Okay, so, we have options....
