How long does it take for a submitted story to be approved? Cause apparently (I didn't know this) stories need to be approved before others can see them. I am the confuse.

Just published the first 2 chapters of my story, and I'm feeling good about it. Thanks to a certain somepony for advice… I think I'll leave chap 1 as is for now though. If I'm so inspired later on, I'll change it. Ta for now, mein lieblings!

I'm a new writer, this much is obvious. I'm kind of in a jam. I need at least 1000 words per chap, but in my first story I've barely got half that. Would anyone out there on the interwebs be willing to help a poor guy out?
