I'm a new writer, this much is obvious. I'm kind of in a jam. I need at least 1000 words per chap, but in my first story I've barely got half that. Would anyone out there on the interwebs be willing to help a poor guy out?
that sounds interesting, i wouldn't mind helping if you had google docs
I can help with character and possibly world building. Bit of a fair warning though, some of the stuff I come up with can be kinda out there.
To DJNightmareNight and cooljwj: I'd be more than pleased to have your help. I haven't got the story on my docs yet, but I will.
Chapter 1, Google Docs
This is my story in Docs. Pls Help in any way you can. I'd appreciate it!

Although I haven't the time to help you with the writing of your story, I can say this: Describe. Everything.
(also, can't get to the story, try checking your sharing permissions)
Protip, click the reply button in the corner of the post you want to reply to.

Try now. It should work. I just... don't know. I'm no good with Expositions.

This is good. Out of personal preference, I'd make sure to put a line in between each of your paragraphs, and also indent each paragraph(that's just me though, I get confused sometimes when all of the words are close together)

Danke, comrade. I'll take your advice to heart and roll with it.

Also, another good strategy for any writer (or anything in general)is to look at the techniques that someone that they like uses and try and copy their style.
Once you get something working, you can start adding things into your writing style to make it more yours
