The hell is the popular panel and how does it work?

Is it ordered by top to least popular?

I have seen each of my stories there and sometimes on the top spot. I know this would sound like bragging but if everything I write becomes "popular" does it really mean anything?

I have noticed that no matter what genre of story I have some kind of sex involved in it. So I am going to challenge myself and write a rated E fic that has no sex in it what's so ever while it retaining the elements of that story.

Aka a romance = fluffy

sad = feels canon

Comedy = the lulz

I need to see if I can do it.

So what do you think I should type for a story that can be rated E?
