I do apologize for the delay. Work has been hectic. With the epidemic running amok, people have been calling in to let us know they're being tested and until they get their results, can't come to work. We've got another on quarantine (not the first time one of our associates have had to stay home for two weeks, and won't be the last). The results have been long hours for most of the week. Throw in a day off taken away for our yearly inventory, it makes for a long week with little time to focus

Anyhoo...back to the writing I've been neglecting. Shame! Shame!

Well, I was bummed out the past couple of days, but I'm over it and I'm moving on. My niece's wedding will happen, but not this year. It's looking like spring of 2021 is the goal. I would have gone just for the visit, but it would have cost me all of my time off for the rest of the year. I could have gone, but from a logical standpoint, it's probably for the best. With the pandemic going into Round 2, I think I'm doing the smart thing, and I don't like it.

My niece's wedding was called off (for the second time) due to the COVID19 pandemic. The state of Virginia is again on lockdown because people like gathering in large groups and sharing. So, I've cancelled my flight and am waiting for the rescheduled date. I am really bummed out and my niece is utterly devastated. I'd love to give her a hug right now.
