I enjoyed it! It was fairly suspenseful, it had some laugh-out-loud moments, a pretty epic sequence a lot of us have longed to see, and a surprise that really threw me for a loop.

I was also happy that Applejack took quite an active role, and I wonder if this is a sign she'll play a significant part in the upcoming season, perhaps even becoming second in command under Twilight. It wouldn't shock me to see her and Dash butting heads over the role in an episode.

This month is nanowrimo, and I'm pausing work on The Apple Falls Hard to work on a new fic, attempting to hit 50k words before month's end.

It's Applejack-centric, it's general audience this time, and it's a tear-jerker. I hope many of you who are enjoying my current work will give my second fic a try when I post it. Unlike Apple Falls Hard, I won't be posting it in installments. I'll post it all at once so no one lynches me for leaving them hanging. Pun not intended...

You can adapt the technique to stencil anything you like onto your bedding. As long as you use quality paint, take your time, and follow the directions, you should wind up with something you can be proud of! If you simply can't create a clean-looking stencil, ask someone with a steadier hand to draw one for you.

I have two partially-completed chapters in the works. One of them needs some steamy title-character fun before I call it done, and the next needs some closure and polish. When I finish and post those, I'll get to work on the finale, and pull this train into the station. Thank you for your patience, and I hope I haven't lost many of you while I struggle to finish this properly.

Just to reassure you, work is ongoing on the next chapter of The Apple Does, though progress has been rather slow thanks to some real-life nonsense.

After finishing up this tale, I have a solid outline in place for another Applejack story, this one a non-clop tale involving AJ handling the impending failure of Sweet Apple Acres as a business. I hope many of you will give it a try when I start posting chapters.

It's disappointing to see down-votes continue to accumulate on my newly-minted story.
