Fallout: Equestria - Shadow of the Day

Intro

Goddesses, save us everyone.

170 years ago, Equestria was engulfed in sickly green flames. Megaspell bombs were set off, and missiles struck. The war ended in a cataclysm that changed the world completely. Radiation poisoned the land, killing ponies, and mutating creatures that were unlucky enough to survive.

Some ponies were spared, through the work of Stable-tec, in their underground bunkers. One such is Stable 47, located in the heart of Los Pegasus. It held one of the largest Stable populations in Equestria. Many famous actors and musicians made it into the Stable. And to this day, their descendants still live there.

However, nearly a century ago, Stable 47 opened to the irradiated world. The ponies had no reason to leave their safe Stable life behind, but, as instructed by Stable-tec, it was set to open. The residents used this opportunity to explore and trade with the outside world, despite how risky it was.

Los Pegasus was hit by a megaspell all those years ago. While the fires have been put out, the radiation still remains. Raiders, vile creatures, and corrupt pony control now rule the ruins of a once great city. Yet, all of this wasn’t enough to deter some brave ponies.

I’m here to make my characters’ stories come to life, and to explore what it’s like to be their heads. I can’t claim this will be a ‘complete’ story in the sense everything is tied together nicely. This story is solely for fun, and I hope some of you can find it fun to read. So please do not judge it too harshly.

To get some things straight, there are a few differences between my version of Equestria and the one in the show, as well as the one Kkat created. The locations might be different. Such as Los Pegasus being the pony equivalent to Los Angeles.

This serves as an alternate timeline to the Linkin Pony universe. The original Linkin Ponies lived during the time of the Mane six, therefore, pre-war and wartime era. This is in no way canon, and the descendants of the Linkin Ponies are purely fictional.

I've only ever read the original Fallout: Equestria. Any similarities to other side stories are completely coincidental.
