2 - A Thought

Setting: (the frozen north 3 years after King Sombra’s banishment, Dr.Hooves and Moonghost sit talking together in a cavern.)

"Doctor."

"Yes Moonghost." Dr.Hooves replied.

"A thought just occurred to me."

"Oh! And what is that?”

“I have never dreamed"

"Interesting.” “Why not?"

"Well, I'm part umbrum."

"So, umbrums do not dream?"

"Yes ,but no. Umbrums dream, but of making nightmares. So I have never really dreamt much at all."

"I see. So what do you do at night?"

"I sleep alright, but I just don't dream.

“So, want to play a game?"

“Yes please. I have a chess set, how about we play that?”

"Sounds great."

Moonghost and Dr.Hooves got out the chess pieces from a wooden box, set up the board on the ground, and began to play chess.
