Mama's and Dada's Fight

"Twemble in fear mister Ursa bear! For i will defeat you with my magic powers!"

Laughed Trixie as she played with her favourite Ursa Major Bear in her cot, it was many hours after her bedtime but she couldn't care less. She pretended to make a loud 'Boom' from her horn as she threw her toy across the room,

"Yay! I told you I could beat you! Twixie saves all her friends and the world again! Whoo-hoo!"

Suddenly, a loud bang from the front door shook the house,

'Dada's back!' Trixie thought as she heard the voices of her mama and dada, but thse weren't gentle, soft words. These were horrible, loud words. Words that a young filly shouldn't hear,

"Thank Celestia you're back from that bloody pub! How many bits have you spent in there this time!? A hundred? A thousand?"

Trixie's mother shouted from downstairs, Trixie silently crawled out of her crib and peered through the bedroom door. You couldn't see her parents, just their shadows printed against the cream coloured wall.
Her mother's shadow was turned away from her dad, but he tried to turn her around,

"Don't be like that babe! You know I still want to get back home to see you and Trixie, now come give us a hug, eh?"
His hooves were wrapped around her, but she tired to pull away,

"Haystack, I'm sick of this! I want a divorce! And I'm bring Trixie too! And Get..Your hooves.. Off me!"
She screamed. A loud slapping sound could be heard from downstairs, Did mama slap daddy?

Silence. Trixie wished that Mama would apologize and everything would be happy again, but it wasn't, not at all.
Trixie heard a click downstairs and Dad's heavy panting,

"Haystack, put down the wine bottle..I said, Put it down!"

"It's no use Bluebell. I'm sick of you too. I wish you could just go away and never come back! and I'm going to kill you,You know I'll do it!"

"Haystack! Stop it! You're out of your mind! Just stop it!"

A loud, crashing sounds shook the house again, tears ran down Trixie's face while she saw her other's shadow fall to the ground.

THUD!

"Mama..." Trixie whimpered quietly, shaking with fear. She felt a cool draft on her back, when she turned around she noticed her window was open,

' I'll find help, mama!' she thought confidently as she crawled out of the window and onto the soft, grassy ground.
She still wheeped tears of sadness and fear, she looked up and saw the bright lights of Cantalot,

'I'll find help there!'
