A Oddly Calm Visit - Pt 1622 words

Finally Back

Princess Celestia sat in the throne room sorting through a number of complaints from several cities and towns. Talk about complaints. What about my complaint? Retarded subjects don't give a flying feather about how all this complaints make me feel.

The sun princess sighed. She sat the letter down and stared at a certain door. She wished Luna was there with her.

"Dear Luna, where are you?" She questioned.

Same moment.....

Nightmare Moon, King Sombra, and Nightmare Nova were on the other side of the door to the throne room. They were listening to Celestia. Waiting for the perfect moment to pounce in.

They decided to have Nightmare Moon come in first. Then when Nightmare said 'But I'm not here alone.' Sombra would come in. When they start fighting, for their advantage, they decided Nova to come in and distract Celestia enough to kill her.

Luckily, they didn't have to wait long. Soon the perfect moment came.

Celestia sighed. The sound of levitation ending. Her voice started.

"Dear Luna, where are you?"

Nightmare took the bait. "I'm right here, 'sister'."

She walked in, not before temporarily changing into Luna's form. Her eyes were still slitted like Nightmare's, along with her wings bat like still too.

Celestia's eyes widened, pinned on her sister's eyes. "L-luna, why a-are your eyes li-like t-th-that?"

'Luna' laughed. "Oh sister. Or should I even call you that? Save that for later. Do you know why I like the night so much?" Celestia shook her head no nervously. Another laughed escaped 'Luna's mouth. "Because I can sneak anything under your nose and you won't even realize it."

Every word she said, the closer she stepped forward towards her sister. Every step took, Celestia couldn't take her eyes off the slitted pair.

"L-luna! Stop it!" Was all she could say.

Another laugh. "Why, sister? Why should I? Why should I be the one everypony hates? Why do you have to be alive? Why can't we fight? Why don't I just kill you on the spot? So many whys, huh?"

"W-what?"

"Must it not be that obvious?" 'Luna' rolled her eyes. Her horn powered up. Around herself, was her magic aura. The magic pieced into a sphere, flying upwards.

Few moments after, a black figure was seen in the sphere. It opened its mouth, showing several sharp teeth.

A maniacal sinister laugh erupted from the sphere. Celestia watched in horror as her so called sister came out of it.

"Nightmare Moon...." She muttered, no longer scared.

"Did you miss me?" She mocked.

"Don't mock me, coward!"

"Coward?" Another sinister laugh. "Is that anyway to treat your Queen?"

"You will never be a Queen. And you will never take Equestria!"

"We'll see about that." She laughed.

With those words the two launched at each other, horns powering spells. Spell after spell. Nightmare struck Celestia in the face, leaving a bold visible scratch. Celestia barely made a mark on Nightmare. Sure, there was the scratch going from her flank to her wings, but that was about it.

"Oh and I almost forgot to tell you. I'm not alone." Nightmare said the words.

A dark laughter filled the room. With Celestia distracted, Nightmare struck her in the throat, creating a huge bloody gash and sending her falling.

She landed hard on the floor, her blood spilling everywhere. The cut on her throat was almost 180 around. Nightmare flew down, smirking at the bloody mess.

"You know King Sombra, right? The Master of Corruptions? I'm pretty sure." Nightmare sneered.

The shadow laughed again, then became a physical form of the sinister unicorn. He bared his teeth as he slow but steadily walked forward.

"Miss me?" He smirked.

"No..... You will not prevail, Sombra. You may have gotten to Luna, but not me." Celestia said, seemly confidant.

"You think I corrupted her? Tsk, tsk. You should know better. She chose this path on her own. And you know rightfully that I got to you once." He smirked, recalling the first battle he had with the royal sisters.

Celestia's eyes widened at the memory. "Doesn't matter. Twilight Sparkle and her friends will stop you again." She said.

"Oh but I won't, my teacher." A sinister voice said, sending shivers down Celestia's spine.

"Tw-twilight?" She asked.

"Oh no. I'm not Twilight. I'm Princess Nightmare Nova, daughter of King Sombra and Nightmare Moon. And I will..... DESTROY YOU!!

Nova awoke with a moan. That was a pleasant dream. Can't wait for it to happen for real.

"Good morning, Nova." A voice called.

"Morning mother." Nova called back to Nightmare.

"Pleasant dreams?" She smirked.

"Yep. Great job. I can't wait for that to happen for real."

Nightmare nodded. Her horn lit up with her dark blue aura. A spell book in the same aura levitated over to the pair.

"What's that?" Nova asked, some snobbishness sneaking into her words.

"It is a book that has a spell to corrupt ponies. Learn it before heading back to Ponyville." Nightmare answered.

"It was my creation, you know." A male voice interrupted.

"Of course it is, father." Nova rolled her eyes.

"It is incredibly effective. I used it on Celestia once, you know. Trapped her in her nightmares for a week. Of course she broke through, it is very hard to corrupt such a being who has the power of the sun." Nightmare grimaced when Sombra mentioned the sun. "But your friends? Ha! They won't stand a chance."

Nova nodded knowingly. "Perfect."

A shot of magic shot through the sky, the hundredth time in an hour. It was followed by a screarm of frustration.

"Why can't I get this stupid spell right?!" A annoyed Nova shouted.

"Patience, Nova." Sombra calmly said.

He was there to help Nova with his spell. She failed nearly a thousand times, in just three hours.

"I don't have patience, father!" Nova snapped.

Hm. Maybe I can transfer some of my magic to her. It could surely help, but is also risky. Meh, who gives a flying feather!

"If you are being so troubled by this spell, why don't I transfer some of my magic to you?" Sombra offered.

The alicorn's eyes lit up. "Yes! I've always wanted the great mastery of dark magic! And you seem to be the best of the best." She exclaimed.

Sombra chuckled. "Oh my, I don't think I am the best at it. Yet, anyway."

Nova rolled her eyes. "Yeah, whatever. Just transfer your magic okay?"

"Okay, okay I'm doing it!" He exclaimed, clearly annoyed.

His horn glowed a sinister dark red. He put his horn up to Nightmare Nova's. Purple mixed into the aura as his dark magic built up in the tip. Nova lit her horn, allowing her father's magic into her's. A purple mist appeared, flowing out of her eyes.

She smiled wickedly. Once the unicorn removed his horn from her horn, she opened her eyes. "So..... Much... Power... I... Love it!" She managed out.

Sombra, dazed, shook his head. "Good to hear, now try the corruption spell again."

His horn glowed for a few seconds, and then a shocked unicorn mare stood in front of Nova.

"Wha? Is that y-you T-twi-twilight?" She nervously questioned.

"No. It's Nightmare Nova you idiot." Nova replied, horn glowing a mix of dark purple and blood red.

"W-what do y-you want with m-me?" The mare asked.

"The real question is, what do you want?" Nova shot back.

The question confused the mare. "I want to serve the princess as her personal guard. Why do you ask?" She answered, managing to not stutter.

Perfect. This will be easy. Just make her serve me.

"Which princess? Moi?" Nova asked, putting a silver horseshoe to her chest.

When saying that, without the mare noticing, Nova's magic slippes into her head. It headed straight to the evil seed.

The mare's eyes went blank for a moment. She was trying to fight. "I want to serve Princess Ce~"

Her eyes went blank again. They were like that for a whole minute. Her face became alive again.

"I, I, do I really want to?" She questioned herself, not realizing she was trying to hold back.

"Don't hold back, dear. Say who you want to serve truthfully. Do you want to serve the monarch sun princess? Who can burn you to a crisp? Who doesn't give a flying feather about her subjects? Or a pony who is caring, awesome, dark, evil?" Nova asked, her horn glowing ever so brighter.

"I..... I...." The mare's face turned blank and a mist of dark magic appeared flowing from her eyes. The dark magic moved around her body, covering it. Soon the mare was no more, as the mist consumed her.

The dark magic faded away, and revealed another pony. She had bat wings. Her horn curved ever so slightly at the tip, red along with it. Her ears were ruffled at the ends. She had long fangs of a vampire.

Her eyes opened to reveal blood red irises, split like Nova and Nightmare's. The made herself had silver armor on, to match Nova's regalia.

She spread her wings and began to speak. "I want to serve the very best princess." She finally answered.

"And that is....?"

"You."

The mare bowed down to Nova. Sombra smiled at her daughter's accomplishment. Nova smirked.

"Excellent choice. You will forever be known as Night Eclipse, Personal guard of Princess Nightmare Nova."

"Yes your Majesty." Night replied.

"You also are a vampire pony. Not a threstal like my mother's guard, but a vampire. You feed off pony's blood. You must. So, you may kill the prisoners once we take Equestria. For now, feed from helpless bucking ponies from Ponyville. Except for Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack."

Night nodded in response. Nova turned to her father. "I will be back soon. I am goingtno get some beauty rest, wake me up at sunset. Then me and Eclipse will take a fly through Ponyville and feed."

"Of course, Nova." Sombra said, nodding.

Nova teleported away. She reappeared by in the cave they were staying in and plopped down on her cloud she put in it. Seconds after she was fast asleep.

"N...."

"....a"

"N....v."

"Nightmare Nova!"

Nova's eyes fluttered open. Sombra was looking down at her. He had a annoyed expression upon his face.

"Gosh! That took like ten minutes to wake you up!" He growled.

"Sorry I'm not sorry. I'm just a heavy sleeper." Nova giggled.

"Clearly." Sombra said. "Anyways, it's seven minutes untill sunset. Get up."

Nova rolled her eyes, but glided off her cloud.

Sombra left the cave. Nova stretched her wings to their full glory. Bones cracked. She stretched the rest of her body until she heard the satisfying crack.

She teleported a mirror in front of her. Nova stared at herself. Her mane was a mist, so there was no use in trying to brush it. But, her fur was matted and messy. She teleported a brush from her library in Ponyville and began to brush her fur.

Bet that scared Spike...... Wait.. Spike! I have to get him! He needs to be with me too.... Well,
corruption will have to do. Maybe I'll do the same corruption I will do on my friends..... Loyal to me, but still has a will..... Perfect.

Nova finished talking to herself and brushed the last chunk of fur. She smiled to herself.

"Now to get Night Eclipse." Nova said to herself.

Luckily she didn't have a hard time. Nova's guard was outside the cave, presumably guarding it.

"Night, are you ready?" Nova asked, preparing to take off.

"Ready if you are, your Majesty." Night replied, readying herself as well.

They flew up, about a thousand hooves high. The pair flew toward Ponyville.

The sun had just set, and the moon was rising.

Nova felt all of her stress float away. Flying is relaxing.

Soon the pair landed in an alley in the small town. A few ponies were still trotting outside, with the night only just starting.

The two vampires snuck low. They were thinking about just feeding off of random ponies, until Nova had a different idea.

What if we fed off some of my friends' loved ones? It would be easier to get them to bow down to me. How about Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo? Yes.... Perfect.

Nova and Eclipse trotted to the Carousel Boutique. Nova put an illusion on herself, making her look like Twilight Sparkle, her old self.

She knocked on the door. A few seconds later a frazzled Rarity answered.

"Twilight! Where have you been? We were worried sick about you!" She exclaimed.

'Twilight' shifted nervously. "Um, I was... In Canterlot! Yes, Canterlot." She giggled.

Rarity eyed her. "If you say so, darling."

Then stood awkwardly for a few minutes. 'Twilight' decided to speak up.

"So, may I come in?" She asked, doing her best to act innocent.

"Oh! Right. Of course, dear." Rarity said, opening her door wider.

'Twilight' walked in. As soon as she did though, she shot a beam of dark magic at her friend. Rarity fell instantly. 'Twilight' smirked, and removed her illusion.

Nova trotted up the stairs to Sweetie Belle's room. Sweetie was in bed already, sleeping peacefully.

Nova smirked and hissed.

"Hello, Sweetie."

Sweetie Belle's eyes shot open. She jumped up and gasped.

"Wh-who a-re you?" She stuttered.

Nova laughed. "I'm Princess Nightmare Nova, daughter of King Sombra and Queen Nightmare Moon. And the former Twilight Sparkle."

The last part made Sweetie's irises the size of pinpricks. "T-t-twi-twilight?"

Nova nodded. Sweetie gulped.

"Wh-what d-do you want?" She asked, afraid for the answer.

"That's easy. Do you see these fangs?" Sweetie nodded. "I'm a vampire, which means I'm need blood. And if I kill you, it will be easy to get Rarity on my side."

Sweetie began to cry. "Pl-please d-don't." She begged.

This only made Nova smile even more. She slowly walked forward, scaring Sweetie even more.

Sweetie closed her eyes, accepting her fate. But, nothing happened. She opened her eyes, but that turned into a huge mistake.

Nova's eyes were hypnotizing. It made Sweetie feel like she wanted to just let the alicorn do what she wanted.

Let her do what she wants, Sweetie Belle. Let her. You must. Give in. You are nothing but a droid. Help her win. Help her take Equestria. Give in.

It was too much for Sweetie Belle. Her eyes became the same as Nova's, swirling around. She gave in. She lost the will to do anything.

Nova smirked and began to move forward. Her fangs were not even an inch away. She licked Sweetie's neck, sending shivers down the unicorn's spine, but did nothing.

Sweetie smiled with a dazed look on her face. She wanted this. She needed this. She wanted to serve her princess.

She didn't even flinch when Nova stuck her fangs into her neck. Sweetie just let her do whatever she wanted.

Nova let the blood flow freely into her mouth. Soon Sweetie was trying to stay awake. She lost though.

Soon all of her blood was gone. Not a single drop was left. Nova dropped the empty body back on the bed. She licked her fangs, and laughed.

She flew down, and soon was downstairs where a unconscious Rarity was. She lit her horn, and put it it up to Rarity's horn. A blood red wave of magic washed over her.

Evil seed secured. Excellent. You know, I might just let Rarity be my sister. And I think her name should be Nightmare Diamond. Yes, that's good.

Nova gave one last push of magic into Rarity, and left.

Eclipse was waiting outside of the boutique. Nova nodded to her, and then flew off towards Sweet Apple Acres.

Eclipse trotted out of Apple Bloom's room with blood on her face. She trotted down the stairs to find her princess hovering over an unconscious Applejack. She finished her spell. The evil seed was planted.

The two trotted to the Cutie Mark Crusaders's clubhouse. There, was Scootoloo. Since she didn't have parents, she slept here. Nova knew this.

The pair trotted out of the clubhouse. Blood was everywhere. One their hooves, fangs, and even wings.

"Well that was harsh. Scoots surely learns from Rainbow Dash." Nova said tiredly.

"Indeed." Eclipse agreed.

Nova's eyes widened. "I have an idea! Let's go to Rainbow's house. Then I can plant the evil seed. Then we can go to Sugarcube Corner and Fluttershy's house and get them too!"

Eclipse nodded, and they flew to Dash's cloud home.

They walked out of their finally destination - Fluttershy's house - she was the hardest. With all of her animals, it was hard to not awake them.

"Eclipse, go back to the cave to King Sombra and Queen Nightmare Moon. I will stay in Ponyville and corrupt my friends." Nova commanded.

"Right away, princess." Eclipse saluted.

She flew away. Nova nodded and flew away too.

She flew slowly, taking in the scenery. Nova breathed deeply, and landed next to the Golden Oak Library. She put an illusion upon herself, and went inside.

As soon as she walked in though, Nova was tackled by a purple dragon. His eyes widened at who it was.

"Twilight! Your back! Where were you? I woke up and you went in bed so I thought you stayed up studying and went downstairs but you weren't there! Then I asked your friends if they knew where you were and they said no! So I had to shut the library!" Spike exclaimed, tears running freely down his face.

"Spike!" Twilight had an angry face that matched her tone. "Stop it! You arent allowed to go anywhere without consulting me! I can be places without telling you! Stop being such a nosy bucking dragon!"

By now Spike was in Twilight's aura, close to her face. That doesn't look like the color of Twilight's aura. Her's is dark pink, not a dark purple. Something's not right.

"Uh Twilight? Why is your aura purple? Isn't it supposed to be pink?" He asked.

Twilight's eye twitched. "See? This is what I was talking about! Your being a nosy~" She slammed he down at a neck breaking pace. "Stupid~" Another slam. "Dragon!" She through Spike across the room and into a bookcase.

"Twilight..... I.... Just... Want.... To help.." He tried his best to say.

Twilight's eyes flashed from white and dark purple irises to eyes of Nova. She smirked.

"You want to help, you say?" She questioned, horn glowing dark purple with now a hint of blood red.

"Y-yes. I'll do anything." Spike's eyes shifted the same as Nova's. "Anything for you."

"So be it." Nova removed her illusion. Spike gasped as her aura surrounded him like flames. He stopped once it died down.

"Who do you think I am, Spikey Wikey?" Nova asked, with a baby tone.

Spike breathed heavily. "You are Princess..... Nightmare Nova...... My master."

"No need for master. You are my pet. And you can just enjoy yourself." Nova insisted.

"Okay!" Spike said, snapping back to his old self, but still mind controlled.

"Now let's go to bed." The alicorn said, putting an illusion upon herself again and heading up the stairs.

"'Kay."

Twilight stretched her invisible wings. She still had the illusion on, better safe than sorry. But, she redid the spell, so that it was like her real body. The misty hair was replaced with regular hair, and so on. The 'unicorn' trotted down stairs, after fixing her mane to make it look presentable.

"Spike... Where are you?" Twilight mumbled.

"I'm in here, Twi!" He called.

The mare followed the sound to the main library. Spike was in there reading a comic.

"Hello Spike." She greeted.

"Hey. By the way, Rarity dropped in earlier today. She seemed, what's the word? More harsh. Yes! Harsh. And she snapped at me. Her eyes, they flashed from the normal beautiful blue to your, real eyes." Spike informed.

Twilight smirked. Guess it's time to drop by my friends, starting with Rarity.

"Spike, I'm heading out. Watch the library for me." She commanded.

"Aye aye, captain." The dragon replied, saluting.

Twilight rolled her eyes, and walked out of the library. She headed for the Carousal Boutique.

She laughed. This shall be fun....
