Chapter 1 - Prologue

Two thousand years ago, Equestria, the united lands of the three races, was born. This long historical country, was founded by only three assistants, who their names were Equestre, the Terrestrial, Faustia, The Unicorn, and Eku Rea, the Pegasus. Together, they prosper for nine centuries, but as the years passed, Darkness has rebuilt his strength…. Even in the year nine hundred fifteen, Discord, the incarnation of Chaos, has already wanted to dominate over the country. But by the power of his inhabitants, and by the three founders, vanquished the foul beast, and sealed in a relic, so powerful that even his founders would fear that this relic could be handed by fouled hoofs: The Elements of Harmony. This power, was neither physical or magical, why the chosen one can have this power like he wanted, as a collar, or an armor. In fear of this power, the three founders, wrote a prophecy, long ago forgotten by many, but always repeated by the royal generations of Equestria:

‘’ When 10 spring, will be at dawn from the second millennium, and when the face of the moon will be showed, six chosen’s ones, shall be born from an individual sign of emotions. The first shall have a compassionate heart, surrounded by honesty, and will be born one year before. The second shall have a fierce and loyal heart, followed by a heart full of kindness. The forth one shall a heart exploding by joy, and the fifth one will have a heart full of generosity. And when all these emotions shall be embodied, the last one will have a heart filled with magic. Their destiny, will be united, and against the Darkness, they shall battle.’’

But, at the Year nine hundred nineteen, a new evil was fallen on the Equestria Kingdom. Discord, has returned, and the mysterious disappearance of the two founders, the King of Equestria, Equestre, and the Queen of Vaporia, Lands of Pegasus, Eku Rea, has fragilized the morality of all Equestria. The incarnation of Chaos, wanting his long-awaited revenge, shadowed all from the kingdom of Equestria obliging to his inhabitants to be at his mercy…. but before the divine kingdom would be fallen in the claw of the chimera, four young mares, could escape the shackles of Discord. From their long travels through the world, they could be prepared to face the Chaos again, and vanquish him again. The first one was pure white like the light of his ally, the sun, and the second was dark blue, who the moon was her confident. They were followed by their companions, one was a green and mystery chrysalid mare, and a Pegasus blessed by red burning wings. For ten long years, they affined in their wisdom…. As they returned, they discover the mighty secret of Equestria: The elements of Harmony. By the thanks of the Relic, they create a mighty rainbow, petrifying Discord of Terror. Again, the chaos was vanquished, and life was given back to the Divine Kingdom of the Equines.

At this Day, These Elements of Harmony, reposed in a sanctuary, and its only protection is the mystical creatures who hiding themselves from it…
But as the Legend continue…One long Forgotten Land has been the victim of the Chaos. He was at the Extreme-East of Equestria, and was one of the powerful empire that has never existed, even after the Empire of Crystal, disappeared, at the year of nine hundred eighteen, by the war of the Harmony. When the Kingdom has been fallen at the year nine hundred nineteen, Discord, could not waited to calm his thirst for blood, and decided to destroy the only most closed ally of Equestria, The Ibexian Empire, only to show and spread fear, among the other countries.

Even if the Empire has shown his most remarkable spirit of his land…. they will only delay their inevitable demise…

Empire Ibex, At the year nine hundred nineteen five, on the plains of Yonaguni, and the great capital, Uma…

…A young soldier, wounded and panicked, running to his captain, only accompanied by other soldiers, demoralized. He came back from Yonaguni, or less than what was left, only survivor of his destruction. He had a brown coat, a middle corpulence, the torso a little robust, his mane half-long, with an intense violet color, grazing the brown, with a blue hair wick. His tail was the same color, but not combed. He has also big blues eyes, and pointed ears. As his exotic armor covers his body, the right front under hoof was teared by an omnipresent plague.

He was talking to his superior, to beg him to order a retreat.

‘’…Captain ! The Chimera Daemon, is approaching from us! And my….The city of Yonaguni is already fallen ! We won’t survi-‘’ ‘’ We will survive ! He is alone!’’ Scream the captain, wanting to motivate his last troops. ‘’ We are dozen against one, and even if we won’t survive, we will die by giving our only last breath to him !’’

But even as he was tempting to motivate his soldiers, those in his back, seeing the City of Yonaguni engulfed by the fire, and terrorized to face the chimera, every soldier, excepted the captain and the wounded one, are taking flee, thinking that his superior has already lost his mind. This latter, seeing his troops flee from him, was already screaming at them:

‘’…Come back you cowards, or you will…’’ He stopped to speak as he sees one of his soldier joining soon death… The fixed soldier was looking back to see his captain with a face of shock, thinking loud that he made the right decision.

‘’He can rot to Tar-‘’ He was suddenly interrupted by a forceful spit of blood, coming from his mouth, not understanding why. He has only realized when he sees a humongous claw, planted in his abdomen, that he understands he was already dead. The chimera in person, killed with no mercy, only smiling sadistically to terrorize the soldier, until it’s last breath…

The wounded one, screamed in terror, as his superior order him to calm now, but as he speak will not resolve anything, because at the same time, the other fleeing soldier, were suffering the same fate. Death. The two ponies were alone, without motivation…and nothing to lose now.

Filled with rage, the captain, spoke at the creature, standing right front of him, with his only smile. The latter unsheathed his blade by magic, and the wounded stayed, paralyzed by fear. The chimera laughed, seeing the captain preparing to attack. The latter give him only a last warning by screaming.

‘’ Be gone foul creature of Tartarus!’’ Flee from this country so peaceful that you have broken!’’ The chimera only swayed his clawed, cleaning from the red liquid, always smiling, fond of himself, began to speak.

‘’…I will not. Your species, have sealed in this stupid relic, the elements of Harmony.’’ Respond the chaos himself. ‘’ I will end you, to the last, only to satisfy my need for vengeance.’ Determined, but also desperate, using with force his magic to hold his blade, preparing to affront the maleficent creature. The latter, laughed with a trembling voice, before he speaks, seeing the captain armed.

‘’…You are ridiculous.’’ Say the chimera. ‘’ Wanting to be measured against me…It’s a joke!’’ He smiled only, and his two arms, coming from different animals, crossed up together. ‘’ See, Unicorn. I am crossing both my arms, which mean that I am defenseless. But I will assure, that you perish, without needing them.’’

Feeling insulted to his honor, wanting a real fight with him, the captain, ran the distance who separate him and the chimera, and in front of him, jumped with his blade on his cutting side, trying to shred at level of his stomach.
The chimera has already anticipated his attack, only moving meters from him, levitating his left lizard leg, with sharpened leg. Wasn’t expected by this, the captain has realized that he has fallen like a fool to his trap, and one of his claw, touch the torso, and tear him from the sternum to the femur….

a splatter of blood was on the green herb, beginning to fade to red, and the captain who was still on air, howling from the pain fall heavily on his back, agitating rapidly, agonizing from his suffer. The wounded soldier, who only watched him to lose so easily, was in shock, incapable to assist him, that his eyes, began to be febrile…

Discord only see the agonizing pony, began to approaching from him, and crouching to his side.

‘’…Did you lose…? What a pity. I was only beginning to be amused.’’ Say the chimera, with his unfeeling smile. He lay his right paw, resembling to a bear paw, on the body of the captain. He slides along the body, and feeling the paw being soaked by his blood loss. He turned the body, and could see the thoracic cage, wide open…He took an air of pity.

‘’…It must hurt quite a lot…’’ He levitated his paw, to the dark sky, clouded by the burned city… The captain, having a last breath of life, open his eyes with difficulty, only to be witnessed what horror the demon will do to him.

‘’…Let me help you.’’ Like an anvil, the paw crushed his cage, dozens of shards were flying around, and irremediably pierced his lungs. He lost his breath, and a vain attempt to free him by levitating the paw, continuing to crushing his body…. only after seconds of agony, he died, the eyes revolted upwards…

The chimera, was staying silent, turned to his last victim, completely petrified by fear. Knowing that he will never in his state, he began to…speak with him.

‘’ You know Equine, I have nothing against you, or your friends, or even your captain, despite the attempt to kill me.’’ Spoke the chimera in a very calm voice.

‘’ But listen well what I will say now: I was sealed for forty years, and my need for vengeance will not be satisfied, as long that all the tree races, shall be exterminated!’

The wounded soldier, tremble from his grave voice, piercing his spirit, paralyzing more than before. Meanwhile, when the chimera continued, he could recover a little bit…

‘’…So, take now the lucky advantage that you are the only one living pony, and flee this place.’’ He said, pointing the mountains that separated Ibex and Equestria.

‘’…. But wait only for my return, and death shall come with you.’’

Noting that the Chimera give him a life chance to run away from him, he still hesitates, as fleeing a combat on Ibex, was a synonym of dishonor and cowardice. But after all he endured for seeing the gruesome deaths of his comrades, He returned to see the mountains, thinking heavily: ‘’ To hell with honor !’’ He was already prepared to run…. But Suddenly, as he began to ran, a violent headache began, compromising his plans…He fall, and began to gesticulate, as he have no more control of his body. He was taken by numerous spasms, and was thinking he became crazy, because he heard a voice his in head…

‘’ Take your blade, and fight for your life!’’ Says the voice, Trying to convince him. ’’ Discord is lying, he will kill you at your first step!’’

His body was still convulsing, but he still had lucidity to scream at the voice to go away.

‘’…G-G-G-Go Away!! D-D-D-Demon!’’ He said, stunned. Surprised, The chimera see the latter in is convulsions, and sigh…
‘’…. That’s it, he became insane.’’ Say Discord, shrugging the shoulders. However, the voice was more intense in the head of the young Soldier.

‘’…. The Blade! Take out your Blade and Fight! Now!’’ Screams the voice, wanting to have a reaction from the Soldier, always on the ground, fighting against himself. The latter feel a powerful sensation invading him, but he was still ordering the voice to go away.

‘’…Go out of my head! I don’t want to hear you anymore!’’ He shook violently his head, believing that she could be ejected by this way. ‘’ I don’t’ want to hea-‘’ He suddenly stopped talking, and opened slowing his eyes… He stopped to convulse, and got up gently… He could not have remarked, but his iris, was shining with a thunderous blue aura.

Discord was finally relieved to see him stopping to tremble like a leaf, speak to provoke him.

‘’…Well well, we have finally stop-‘’

‘’ Shut your mouth!’’ Scream the young soldier, enraged. Discord, stunned to be cut like that from the trembling soldier who became suddenly choleric. He was also vexed by this.

‘’ You have nerves to tell me to shut up!’’ Say the angry Chimera. He tighten his eagle claws, taking care on pointing one of the claw, and running to the Stallion, who doesn’t reacted yet. The latter screamed of rage against him.

‘’…I will show you what happen, when someone disrespect me!’’

Smiling always sadistically, he pricked his claw against the Stallion, and closed his eyes, knowing what will happen. He didn’t wanted to have filthy blood in his eyes. But much as his surprise, he heard an another noise. A more metallic one. He opened his eyes by shock, and see his claw being easily countered by the blade of the young soldier. What was more shocking was, the blade was floating on thin air !

‘’…What ?!.... But…How…’’ He failed to find words, and began to become wordless as he see the mark on the soldiers flanks, shining to a goldened color! he began to think, always shocked:

‘’His Mark…. Since when it shines like that ?!’’

The young soldier, full of rage, deflected the claw of the chimera with strength, making him for the first time since their encounter in this battle vulnerable to a physical attack. He took advantage to pose his blade horizontally, wanting to cut the torso of the demon in half. Not expecting to see a perfect control and exceptional speed of the blade, he could barely teleport a few meters behind. He escaped the attack, however he felt a liquid traversing trough his body. Perturbed, he look at his torso, and found that the latter, nevertheless succeeded in injuring the torso…He put his bear paw on the wound, and when he removed, blood was all present on his paw…Hate was beginning to consume his mind.

‘’..Never !’’ Screams the chimera. ‘’ No one injured me before !’’…The young soldier, fixing always the monster, was breathless, as if the blow he had just carried was exhausting. The blade, stained by the blood of the chimera always floating all around him, which make the chimera very angry. He wanted an explanation:

‘’ How is this possible?! How can you float a blade if you are nothing than a simple terrestrial!? Says the chimera, feeling now the pain on his torso. ‘’ It’s unfair!’’

The stallion ignored his complaint, and was now running to him, ready to end him…. However, the Spasms came back, cut off his race, and fall on the ground, the blade to his side. The voice was also back to speak with him.

‘’ He is still too strong for you now, you have to flee now!’’ says the voice. ‘’ Your empire is condemned!

The chimera, was again surprised to see him in this state, was approaching him, with a hated smile….

‘’…You are convulsing now, you little vermin.’’ Says Discord. He looked up at him, observing how he trembled, without a reason. He lift his right leg, resembling to a horse’s hoof, and pose on the face of the soldier, always convulsing.

‘’… I will tear you apart, for what you have done to me, Terrestrial!’’ Says the chimera, threating him. ‘’ I swore that you will suffer very slowly. I will begin by crippling your eyes and…’’ He felt a blow at the lowest point of his hoof, and see the right front hoof of the solider, accidentally hitting him…It wasn’t painful, but he sees that trough a provocation.

‘’…You little idiot.’’ Says the chimera, angry but to a serious state ‘’ You dare me hit me again?’’ He lifts his leg, and smile, knowing what he will do. He screams: ‘’ It’s over for you!’’

At the moment when the hoof was going to crush his face…The whole body, exploded in endless light particles. The chimera was enraged, as the soldier has escaped to his judgment.

‘’…You little…You think that I will let you go ?!’’ He tried to take the particles and contain him in it, but he felt a strong burning feeling, to the state of pain coming intensely. He groaned in pain, to a point he cannot hold it anymore by letting a painful screech, freeing the particles at the same time, who joined the others…

The young soldier, opened with difficulty his eyes. And despite his troubled vision, he could see that he was on a beach, laid on the sable, and cannot move, feeling no more his whole body…. Suddenly he heard the same voice who resonated in his head, but with a more maternal touch….

‘’Sutorimu…’’ Says the voice in whisper… He wanted to respond, but his fatigue was so much, that he could give only one word.

‘’...Mother?’’ Says Sutorimu, thinking at the only things that matter more than his life. Only seconds later, he fainted again, having not anymore to what he wants. A burst of light appears, only to reveal a doe, with humongous wood horns, approaching Sutorimu, and observing the mark of the Stallion. His mark was two black magatamas pursuing a white one in a counter-clock wise way. She closed hers eyes, and a glyph was beginning to surround Sutorimu, as the glyph began to draw a bird like a phoenix on the ground. After that, she poses his front right hoof on the head of the stallion, and moved to the torso. She felt a pulse, but it was very weak. She smiled, and began her ritual.

‘’ From the past, you shall go…’’ She says, as a light blue began to shine thorough the body of Sutorimu.

‘’ To the future, you shall stay.’’

At the moment she conclude her phrase, the body of the latter exploded like a bubble taking again the very same particles, before flying again on the sky, as the doe see the ocean, as a tsunami began to form away as she thinks with a smile.

‘’…Live.’'

The gigantic wave would swallow the whole beach and as it touched the sand…The soldier was awakened from his strange dream. He felt numerous drop of water running down his forehead, opened his eyes…. he breathed loudly, catching his breath…He felt again rain soaking his body, and decided to get up with difficulty. But as the moment he put his front left hoof, on the ground he felt an intense pain…

the wound that he has when he has begun to flee from Yonaguni was infected now. Knowing that he could do nothing for now, he noticed that the rain was present, but also the night has fallen. Luckily that helped him to see a light in front of him, and began to walk to it, only to have a chance to survive.

The light was more and more intense, and when he sees the houses beginning to surrender him, he noticed that he entered a town or some sort. He has never seen this style of house, but he ignored that at the moment. He was blindly walking around the streets, but miraculously a couple of ponies could be seen, was approaching him… Despite his still troubled vision, he could distinguish both ponies. One had a white cream coat and the other one a turquoise color. The pain became unbearable, he begs their help.

‘’…Please…Help me…I beg of you…’’

Both of them thinking it was a trap, decided to ignore him, while Sutorimu sees them go the other side…. Helpless, he continued to walk, until he collapsed before a large building, on a large public square but deserted...Before he fainted again…he could only heard irregular footsteps approaching him….

Before you begin to comment that i need a proof-reader, i already know. English is not my language. I have been writing my fiction in french only, which i have to translate word by word into english. I won't seek for a proof-reader, but i will try improvise more and more. I consider this like a exercise to help me write better in English. All critics are accepted, but it has to be constructive. Be fair with my writing
