Wow!
Those two chapters where a huge bomb that sent an also sent a large shock wave to the standards of not only FoE, but FimFiction & just fanfiction in general, without at the same time trying to show the excellent writing, or the oc characters who where use at it, but instead trying to use the how & why of those characters.
But most importantly the messages that it sends towards both the characters (canon or other oc) in the story, as well as the readers of this fic.
I would also like to add here that sometimes what we think counts as morality or normal to us, may be different from those of what the society we live in believes, be that from our own personal experiences that effect only us, or from a huge event that effects the society in general.
Now I could be wrong about this, maybe I'm seeing it in the wrong way, or I'm maybe over thinking about it, but morality(mostly Sunnys) does play a huge importance in those chapter.
I believe that, too an extend, Sunrise had her own morality and ethics change as well with her bad experiences with life that, in the end, her own morality evolved to ones that she was the closest to a solace and kept to the very end, away from what pony society believed in, while, also, eventually fallin on in the way of thinking of the Caribou .
(Sorry if this doesn't make sense, i don't know how exactly write what I want to say, while it doesn't help that English is not my mother language.)

Fixed. Thanks for pointing it out.
"The caribou were once a species driven by an ambitious goal to make all civilizations bow to their power and follow their ideals" that is impossible for them to achivie because the races of the other civilizations population clearly outnumber the caribou.
Given what we've discussed previously and the authors note at the very end of this story, I believe you have given me some things to think about regarding my planned project. Thank you. I shall try and take these words to heart and use them wisely.
Is this intentional? I can't tell whether it's describing a location or meant to describe an appearance.
I didn't expect a courtroom experience, but I did have the occasional 'moment.'
Hear-say! Hear-say everywhere! Guilty until proven innocent! Indiscretion! Contempt! Entrapment!
I did not expect so many twists.
I really love their method of judgement.
