Last I remember the Thing's assimilation process was messy...
Hope she remember to clean up all the slime, blood, etc before she left
5849488 Well considering its host takeover had failed the new sentient form is probably more efficient then its feral counterpart. But who knows ya know?
Silly Thingpone! Some NO2 forced into their lungs, and a tendril into the ear to convert pain signals into pleasure -- or just stimulate pleasure nerves - could make being assimilated blissful and enjoyable while also making the whole thing seem like some kind of odd fantasy.
Great story so far!
I love how it's not your average The Thing story involving horror (...yet) and more or less just this sorta cute but still dark story (we'll see how dark it gets).
From what i've read so far, it almost feels like the direction this story is going is that of where Thingpone will eventually become more and more addicted to assimilation that it is going to become a threat to Equestria's safety (let alone the world).
It'll be interesting to see if the more she assimilates the more mutated her body becomes.
It kinda reminds me of Legacy of Birkin in that regard, which is one of my favourite fan Resident Evil stories.
To sum up how much i enjoy it, i'm just gonna say that i've gotten a few ideas for something i might do in the future. THAT'S how good i consider this story to be!
7997146 I'll have to ask for a link to that fanfic, since I can't seem to find it through Google - Birkin was always one of my favorites in Resident Evil,..
As for what this reminds me, of, I was actually thinking of Prototype, at least in the sense of the protagonist, after absorbing so many minds, actually gaining something of a conscience - though that probably won't apply here since Blossomforth had a conscience to begin with.
