“So … which college are you going to any ways “my mother said in an excited voice

“Um… I’m going to UCLA”I said on my way to the couch

“Wait, you’re going to southern California” in a surprised tone

“Well you didn’t tell me that” she said in a slightly angered voice

“Well sorry I just got the acceptance today” as the dog jumped on my lap

“Yeah, but where in the school I don’t know, and the funny part is that I had to take a test to get in the dorm”

“Really, When we went to college we just got a random room” she in a surprised voice

“Well they also have co-ed dorms so, and if you don’t have the right attitude you don’t get in to co-ed dorms”

“Well that makes sense, so when does college start”

“In about two to three weeks, and the best part is that it’s FREE”

As soon as I said free, my dad walked in the room and said “did I hear free college?”

“Yes, yes you did dad “

“How did you do that? “

“I will tell you at dinner, till then I have to pack for college”

“Pack? You just got back” my little sister said who’s all of 6

I went over to her and knelt down in front of her and said “I know but my life in this house is over and it’s time for me to move on with my life and soon enough you will move out too”

“Speaking of just coming back, how did you get accepted to college if you’re still in your uniform? “ My father said

“Um… I applied at the base. Well I have to pack. I will see you at diner and explain everything there” and I made my way to my old room and started to pack

“Got ya, were actually having pizza”

“Oh thank god, finally some normal food “

“They didn’t have food in the army”

“They did but it was nasty stuff”

“Cool” I looked at the table and saw that everyone had already got there food

"now before I get my food I do I need to do something" I went to the bathroom to wash my face and hands and when I did that I looked in the mirror and I saw the same man I always had, the same rainbow colored hair except it wasn't in the normal order, it went red, blue, orange, green, yellow, purple, which I always thought was odd because I born in a brown hair family, the same 6 foot 9 man, the same built up build, thanks to the army, and the same face

So I came out of the bathroom, I got my food and sat in my normal spot and thank god they got sausage, and chicken on the pizza

“I got one how, did you get an application for college?” said my dad

“Well it started at the base in Afghanistan when they asked me to volunteer for something “

FLASHBACK START

“Well sign here, here, and here” I signed the spots the man pointed out

“Ok then, what am I signing up for exactly?” I said with a concerned voice

“Limb regeneration” he said with a smirk on his face

“Ok then but I’m not missing any limbs” I said confused

“Oh it’s for people who haven’t lost any yet “

“Oh, wait what? It’s for people who haven’t lost any limbs yet really?”

“Yes why”

“Just clearing it up”

“Ok, last question do you have friends or family to return to?”

“Yes”

“Ok, then right this way”

He pointed to a door and as I walked through it there was a jeep waiting for me with three people in it, a driver I didn’t see his face nor any of his any of his real skin because he was wearing a mask and gloves, a female air force pilot with fiery orange hair in the front passenger seat, and another air force pilot in the backseat but male and had dark blue hair.

I hopped in the jeep and sat next to the blue haired man and he said “so what’s your name?” and the driver took off

“Sean, yours?”

“Soarin' and this my sister Spitfire “

“Yo” as Spitfire turned around to say hi

“Soarin' and spitfire where have I heard those names before”

“Well not only are we the best fighter pilot but we are also the best stunt pilots ever”

“Please excuse him,, he‘s full of himself”

“What, we are”

“Well that doesn’t mean you can gloat about it”

“Sure it does, I mean we are the best”

“We may be the best but it’s rude to brag about”

“So what if is rude it’s still true”

And they continued arguing about an hour about what’s rude and what’s not, then who was a better pilot, then who like more at the orphanage… wait orphanage, they didn’t have parents

“You know what, both of you shut up. Now did I hear that you two where orphans?”

“Yes why?” spitfire said

“Oh I just wanted to clear it up because I heard you two argue about it now bigger question where are we going?”

“Ya where are we going?” and she poked the driver and when she did the driver fell over and mask fell off and reveled a robot face connected to a robotic body

“WHAT THE FUCK” she said

That’s when it hit me, were being set up

“BOTH OF YOU GET DOWN NOW” and then I put both of their heads down and what happened next was in slow motion

First there was a large explosion in the front right of the vehicle then the car flipped backwards and then another explosion hit the back right and with that explosion I was knocked out with it and when I came to I was on a medical table and when I got up I felt like my head was compressed then I saw both Soarin', on my right side, and Spitfire, on my left, in the beds next to me when I heard Spitfire’s voice

/Ugh what happened\ I looked over to her and she was still lying down. Then I heard Soarin’s voice

(Did anyone get the license plate number on that truck?) Then I looked over at his body he was also lying down on the other bed. I tried to wake them up but they where cold to the touch like they were dead but the weird thing is that I could still hear them but it was like they were in my head or something

“Guys can you hear me”

(Ya we can hear you but my question is where are we)

“Well right now we are in a hospital”

/and how do you know that\

“it's not my first time in a foreign hospital well do you see anyone”

/ No, including my stupid brother for once\

“Really and how old are you two, like 22”

(Dude we’re 25)

“Then act like it you two or else I will beat your asses, I mean I had to hear you two argue in the car for like an hour”

/ok we will just calm down I mean really\ just then a nurse walked in and saw my conversation with the siblings

“Sir are you ok” said the nurse

“Ya why”

“Well you’re talking to yourself”

“No I’m not I’m talking to these two” and I pointed to the two bodies next to me with my thumb, then the nurse gasped and turned around and ran

“I don’t know how I see your bodies but you guys aren’t getting up”

/really we’re up and walking or that what it feels like\

“Really cool, you know what if I didn’t know better I would think you guys where in my head. Ya that would be the day” just then the doctor walked in with the same nurse from before “doc can you please explain what’s going on? Why am in a hospital? Why am I talking to what seem like corpses?”

“Well you aren’t talking to corpses”

“Thank god I knew they weren’t dead” as I was getting off the bed

“Oh their bodies dead all right” my eye twitched “their consciences are alive and in your head” my heart started to race at the moment I heard that

“EXPLAINS WHAT EXACTLY” as I picked up the lifeless body on my right shaking him vigorously

“who are you yelling at?”

“HIM” and I pointed at Soarin’s body

“now calm down…”

“CALM DOWN” I turned to them in disgust “YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN AFTER YOU JUST TOLD ME THAT I HAVE NOT ONE, BUT TWO PEOPLE AT THAT HAVE COMPLETE ACCESS TO ALL MY DEEPEST DARKEST SECRETS AND MEMORIES AND NOT ONLY THAT BUT THEY ARE COMPLETE STRANGERS AND THE BEST PART IS THE FACT THAT THEY ARE BROTHER AND SISTER AND NOT ONLY THAT BUT THEY KEEP ARGUING NON STOP AND ITS EXTREMELY ANNOYING” now being a 6 foot 9 tall man is very intimating but when I’m angry I look like I grow another foot

“Now please calm down please do you want to see what you looked like before you woke and when you came in this hospital” I started to calm down when I heard that

“What I looked like before I woke?” He walked up to me and showed me a picture of a man missing his left arm and most of his right one, both of his legs, and there was cuts and scratches all along his chest, part of his rib cage was showing and his face was undistinguishable “this was me”

“Yes”

“What happened to me”

“When the jeep exploded, it exploded in all four corners of the jeep and you where the only one who survived”

“ok then why do I not look like this now?”

“because it was what you signed up for”

“what did I sign up for exactly”

“ you signed up for limb regeneration remember”

“ oh ya what did you sign up for”

/we signed up for some sorta mental program\

“Ok then why do I still have my arms and legs if I lost them in the explosion”

“do you feel a chip in the base of your neck?” I felt there and sure enough there was a chip under my skin

“That’s why”

“please explain”

“Well we tried with other patents they all gained their limbs back but they all went insane so when you three came in we got the idea to transfer their consciences to the chip and placed it in the tip of your spine and as predicted your limbs regenerated but you didn’t wake up like all the others but instead you keep asleep”

“was that good”

“ well you didn’t try to kill us when we placed the chip so ya that’s good”

“ awesome. I have one question, why was the driver a robot?”

“You still remember that?”

“Yes”

“*sigh*Well the truth is that we set you up”

Then I felt myself say “WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU SET US UP?”

“We rigged the jeep to get a test subject for our program”

“Both of whom?”

“ME AND MY SISTER”

The doctor turned to the nurse and said “Interesting the consciences are able to take control of the body and vocal ability”

Then I felt my hand grab his neck “I'M TALKING TO YOU, NOW TELL ME, DID YOU OR DID YOU NOT KILL US”

“quickly get the police” said the nurse

“NO…l...let… h…his…sis…sister…c…calm…h…him”

“Well when we received you three you where alive but your bodies were not going to survive but there was only one way for the pilots to survive was…”

I started to regain my own body and I dropped him “ to transfer their consciences to my head”

He gave me a piece of paper that had an address on it “when you get the bill for collage or any thing you want just send it to this address and you will be fine”

“thanks and now the exit please”

“down the hall and out the doors and you will find a jeep with a real driver this time”

As I made my way through the hall when and to the jeep

“and that how I got free college” I looked at my family with their jaws on the floor

“I have one, are you ok after all that?” my mom said

“It happened two years before I came back”

“oh ok”

“are you all done with dinner”

“yep” every one said in their own way

“one last thing after that crazy story I would like to give a toast to my son for making it to college”

“To Sean” and the toast was finished

“and by the way dad”

“yes”

“I’m taking the PS3”

“go ahead I mean your over 21 I think you can take care of yourself and yo did pay for it yourself”

“so when are you leaving” said the older of the two sisters who was 10

“tomorrow why do you think that I’m packing tonight”

“sorry I asked”

“Speaking of packing I have to finish so thank you for listening to my story and I hope you enjoyed it” and got up and placed my plate in the sink and went to my room to finish packing

Okay. Scratch the comment I put. Your a bit of an asshole.

I'm joking of course. But seriously, you couldn't POSSIBLY have gotten this idea from my fic. Albeit with a much smarter idea. You also have backstory, whereas I'm just crazy. Or maybe I'm not. I don't have backstory time 'till Part 3. Oops did that leak out. Meh. No point getting rid of it now.
