Chapter 1: Ordinary

Not What You would Expect?
Note that this my first fanfic, and my writing would be sub-par than others. But I do love to write stories, so here's my story with original characters, created by me! Also, any creative criticism is welcomed, and if you have any pointers on how to write good stories, I'm all ears.

There are things out there in the world, that you'd never expect. Sometimes those experiences are the most amazing thing you'd will ever have, while sometimes they would be the one thing that you'd wish had never happened. But, deep within one way or another, we're actually glad that such an experience had happened.

"Mondays are the devil's child." I exclaimed, as I remove my bed sheets off me at a very sluggish speed. I never really cared that much, since it was summer. I never really had that many friends, you could say I was a loner, never really had myself or for that matter anyone else meddle in the business of others. Still I had a very active lifestyle, until two weeks ago where strange and there I say it, SUPERNATURAL! happen every time I interacted with anything. So, I just stayed in my home trying hard to figure out what was wrong with me. The closest thing I got to anything was magic, but really that's not even possible! magic isn't even possible.

"What to eat?" I thought to myself.

Still, it doesn't really matter anymore. After almost five years of being alone, I soon began to not care about it. All I want is to live my life in peace. Besides, what can possibly change my life and have me do something, I have no school!?

"hmm?~" All I saw was some eggs, milk, apples, oranges, and meat.

"I guess a plate of stake and eggs, won't be bad. I think?"

Cooking as always been my state of peace. Something about creating food, that just made me calm. I never knew why exactly, but it never really hurt me so why bother.

"Sometimes it's good to be a loner!" I whispered, knowing that there were was not a single soul other than me.

Suddenly, I notice two things.

A. I wasn't making sense as I thought to my self, sudden thoughts began pouring in me, like water running through a river.

and B. Suddenly my kitchen is suddenly shaking and every single electronic device begins to go crazy, some even catching on fire as sudden sparks of lightning appears all around them.

Then, similar to the scene in The Terminator a ball of blinding light begins to appear right before me! As I cover my eyes I did notice that instead of a bluish to white tint, it was... purple?

"What in Great Gatsby is going on!"I yelled, being all terrified for my life right now.

Then stood three creatures in the middle of my kitchen. Oh, but it gets good, but as I looked upon closer expection, not only were they creatures, but they were PONIES!

.... Just what is going on!?

Earlier in Ponyville

Equestria! The land of beauty, peace, and harmony. A land of mystical and magical creatures, all whom live in harmony, thanks to the legendary keepers of the Elements of Harmony.

It has been over fifty years since the elements of harmony were used. The mares had now grown, and even have families to care for, and most notably they are still friends. Their children have grown to be quite special, they're all similar and yet different from their mothers. All except one, Firefly, Twilight's daughter.

Over at ponyville's library, there inside a beautiful deep violet mare is reading a book on teleportation. She has lived in ponyville since she was born. As a filly she always was quite a literary geek. But, her most beloved reading was on music. Though she loved music, she was even a fairly powerful unicorn, similar to her mother. Now, she's living the same way her mother did when she first moved in Ponyville.

"hmm. Interesting. I wonder if it's possible to teleport in different worlds?" wondered Firefly.
As she read in silence, she noticed a windy sound was coming out of her door front. Then."

BOOM!!

"Fy!!!!!! I did it! I did it!~" yelled an enthusiastic gray-white stallion with a neon blue-white streaked mane.

"Gah!"yelled, Firefly.

"What do you want, Stormwind?!" questioned, Firefly as she attempts to pry her self from Stromwind's tight hug.

"Didn't you hear me? I got in! I've been excepted to be with the WonderBolts!"bellowed, Stormwind.

As Stormwind quiets down from his excitement, he spots several books on the floor, each having some sort of connection about teleportation. He was never much of a genius, but he knew the necessary things, when it called for it.

"Another project for Princess Luna?"

Firefly stopped for a moment to get her self settled.
"Yeah. She asked me to search on it just yesterday. Wanna help?"

"Nah~ I need to get started on my training for the wonderbolts!" As stormwind spoke these words, a cute earth pony walks in the room carrying a basket full of oranges on her head, and an apple pie on her back.

"Hey guys! how yah doing?" Asked the mare.

Firefly turns her head to see, Aurora swirls, Ponyville's farmer in Sweet Apple Acres.
" Aurora! glad to see you, so how's the farm? Also did you get those oranges I asked for?" asked Firefly.

"yep!, and the farms doing just fine. Also, Applejack just finished baking some apple pie, wanna have some?"

"Can I have some!" yelled, stormwind whom came back, once he smelled apple pie.

Noticing Stormwind coming in, Aurora began slicing the pie into seven pieces.

"As always Storm, you always come whenever there's food."exclaimed Aurora.

"Oh come one! you'd think I'm that heavily influenced by food. Besides I do need to be in shape if I'm going to be with the WonderBolts." exclaimed Stormwind.

"Hey, that's awesome! Now you could go and live your dream, right." added Aurora.

From then on, the small group of friends ate and talked about certain things that happened during their time in Ponyville. As they finished eating, Firefly told asked Aurora and Stormwind to be her assistants in the teleportation project. They reluctantly agreed, knowing that Firefly will just convince them anyways.

"You know Fy, me and Aurora wondered why you always ask us to help in your crazy experiments?" questioned Stormwind.

"Easy, because its fun to do things with you guys!" answered Firefly.

"Well thanks, but that's not what we meant." Noted Stormwind, but he knew that's not going to work anyways so why bother.

When the oranges were placed in their spots, the ponies readied themselves, as Firefly began concentrating on the oranges. For a short while, the energy in her head began to build up, giving Firefly an immense headache.

But, it wasn't until a ball of light began swelling and forming around the orange. Aurora and Stormwind were surprised to see what was happening in front of them. It wasn't as quick as Firefly's normal terleporting, instead it was more powerful, more stronger than usual. Then, the orange disappeared, all was quite. Stormwind was about to congratulate Firefly, when suddenly the orange appearing all over the place, sporadically.

Firefly opened her eyes quickly, only in shock to what is happening around her.

"Fy do something!!" Yelled Stormwind.

"Hurry Fy!" Yelled Aurora.

Firefly kept thinking on what had happened, but she didn't have time to think, the orange was teleporting everywhere.Firefly decided to use a a time cancellation spell, learned from her mother.

"Okay, everyone stay with me, right from where I'm standing." Ordered Firefly.

The other ponies ran to Firefly, and began clutching her shoulders. She began to conjure up the spell, and in no time the orange stopped, dead in its tracks. Everypony looked, and all seemed fine. Except now the library's main floor is covered in a slimey substance of what used to be the orange.

"Looks like we're safe. Well, except the room." mentioned, Stormwind.

"Yeah, that was propably the most threatening thing I have ever experienced." added Aurora.

"Be glad that we're all safe. Right?"Wondered Firefly.

Firefly's suspicion was answered, when a sudden ball of light appeared around her, Stormwind, and Aurora.

"Fy, what the buck is going on!?" requested, Stormwind.

" I don't know! But this energy is the same as when I was trying to teleport the orange!" Answered Firefly.

The ponies were now stuck in one spot, and they were now engulfed in the orb. Little did they know that they'll find soon enough.

I'll be writing in small bits, since I only just started this and I have school. So, more will be coming soon, but would only be made during breaks and weekends. Hope you enjoy!
