Well hello, Luna, how was your night?
Beautiful, I presume?
It’s now time for day, I was hoping you might
Begin to lower the moon.

My darling sister, Celestia, dear,
I’m afraid I cannot comply.
I’ve been giving it some thought, you see,
I don’t want your sun to rise.

Ah, excellent, Luna, thank you.
Now I shall start the day.
And now all the ponies below can begin to-

Don’t play the foal, Celestia,

On ponies who just lay in bed.

To make them appreciate night.
