Hi friends!
It's been a while, but I just can't get My Unexpected Gift off the ol' noggin! I know I everyone thinks the story is dead at this point, but it's not. This summer, every day I am setting 3-4 hours to work on this story and I am setting at least two hours every night until dead week to edit this story. I know I am not the fastest to get things out, but I will try to edit one chapter every night and get one chapter out a week over the summer. Rainbow will be a mother dammit!

I just reread My Unexpected Gift. I feel appalled at something I viewed as my ultimate (incomplete) masterpiece. As of today, December 24th, 2015, My Unexpected Gift is in the process of being rewritten. I'm sorry that you loyal readers even saw this mess. I'll try to have it done by Valentine's Day, but who knows if that'll happen.

While I was away from ponies, I had a few brief affairs with other fandoms, the most notable being DC comics (mainly the Flash (2014 tv show) and the Teen Titans (2003 cartoon)), Sonic the Hedgehog (pre BOOM), and Five Nights at Freddy's.

Now, of course, I drew some parallels from the former two, the Flash having the speed and loyalty of RD, the Titans having the bonds of friendship saving the world, and Sonic displaying both.

I'm thinking about writing something to fit into the My Unexpected Gift universe. If I end up writing it, it might end up as a spin off story, but it might end up as a story arc to the main story. The only other thing I'll say about it is that it has both FlashLight and Flashimmer.

I was pulled out right before we went to the theatre.

My little brother was in the hospital.

I ran faster than I ever had in my life.

I am just under two hours away from my *first college tour. I'm going to be touring Ball State University, being that it has one of the most renowned theatre programs in the country. Later this weekend, I'll also be visiting Catholic University, as well as looking into their summer theatre camp for high schoolers. For several years, I've been begging like a dog for private voice lessons as to help me with my future career in the performing arts. I've been coaching myself for even longer, not only in vocals, but also stage acting, improvisation and dance (mainly ballet and modern jazz with slight influences of Irish step and american tap). It didn't work out as well as the other two, though. Gotta run! No ponies here till summer, but occasional posts shall still happen on said basis.

I'm in one of those moods where I need to write! Chapter 19, and possibly an interlude, will be up tonight. I'm already over 500 words in!

"I can explain!" a exhausted blond headed girl cried out, two drops of tears forming in her eyes.

"So!" returned the black silhouette, an overbearing irritation controlling it's many harmonious voices, something the young pegasister was far too familiar with, "Explain it!"

The girl tried to speak, but as fear took over, her words died in her throat, getting weaker and weaker until all she could do was quietly stumbling the words "I'm sorry" in a continuous loop.

Now that school is out for winter break, I'll have time to write. I will publish a chapter a day, no wishy-washy excuses. I will edit the parts that needed revisions tonight. I won't allow myself to fall asleep as soon as I sit down to write. I will finish the story!

*And by finishing, I mean start the second paragraph of a four page paper, write a three page NON-FANFIC AND NON-EQUESTRIAN-CENTRIC gothic story (which, like everything else, has been planned for months but never put into action), type** a 2-3 page journal entry done in class, write a speech reflection on a speech that did not save to my SD card, complete a three page homework assignment, and, hardest of all, ORGANIZE IT AND PUT THE REST OF MY FIRST SEMESTER ENGLISH

I am asking my mom for a new scooter for Christmas, as I outgrew my old one. She got mad, saying I already have a damn good scooter. I couldn't argue about it's performance, nor the sparking spectacles I used to put on with it, but now I'm too tall for it and can't adjust it any more. So now I'm trying to convince her to get me this really good freestyle scooter.

These facts may contradict S4 cannon/what I have written down at this moment but will be revised post Sunday after the last show/be irrelevant to the story at the moment. SPOILERS!!!
