Hello all.

I spent some time today looking through the archive of my past blogs and marveling at how, once upon a time, I updated this thing somewhat regularly. (Also marveling at how foolish of a person I was ten years ago, but that's a story for another time.) I've spent a bit of time outside of the spotlight ever since I finished What Society Expects from a Princess. I hope you don't think that means I've been slacking off though. When I look down my list of past blogs, I see only a litany of excuses and empty promises. How many times have I set deadlines on myself for finishing this story? Too many times. It's been almost a year. It's been a troubling year, a very frustrating year. I spent so long away from here, that I've found it hard to get back into things. Much of this time was spent attempting to get another editor, after my first had to bail on me about ten months ago.
