I originally had the idea for this back in 2014, as an entry to the Equestria Daily Outside Insight Contest. I started writing it and then stopped and never came back to it. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), that version has been lost to time. But the idea stuck with me until now, so it can't have been too bad, right?
