Since the Plot Hole has so much potential, and how there’s so many Mary Sue OCs in this fandom, whether for comedic purposes or not, I’m wondering…

Cover art updated successfully, and so has the design of Nova Shadowlight.

And honestly, I’m more proud of the new cover art. Because the new character design gives off a much stronger Mary Sue vibe than the old one. That and the new cover art alone supports the tone of the story a lot more.

But I digress; what do you guys think?

And I feel the need to redesign Nova Shadowlight. I mean, honestly, I feel like I can do more than recolor a canon character to make a Mary Sue.

I’ve yet to come up with an original design for her, though.

Okay, here are some of my personal rules for writing this fic.

1. Incorporate as many fanfic/literature puns as possible.
2. Try and make the grammar of the Mary Sue’s lines as bad as possible without overdoing it.

3. Add in some meta humor (somehow) about the MLP OC community.

   And most importantly:

4. Never explicitly write the words “Mary Sue/Backstory/Creator/OC” or any of that.
