It WAS going well...but then I managed to break my arm today.

I was at work working on something while up on scaffolding. I asked my colleague on a platform above me to pass me some equipment down, I told him to just chuck it. He warned me that it was quite heavy, I replied with "Nah it's not, just chuck it. I'll be fine."

It's just a few words shy of being done!

Unfortunately it's a little shorter than I was hoping, coming in somewhere around the 3000 words mark give or take. Honestly I had a bit of trouble finding inspiration for this chapter without getting repetitive.

I've just got to finish this final scene, then do my usual proofing before publishing it. I'll try and get it out tomorrow if not Wednesday.

I've got to read it through and I'll hopefully have it published Sunday, if not Monday.

Aight so it's about halfway done, but I had a phone call from work today saying that we've been given the green light to start up again on Monday. And I've got plenty to catch up on, so I'll probably be doing a hell of a lot of overtime indefinitely (Hey, at least it compensates for having to take a few weeks unpaid!)

Chapter 2 is almost complete. It currently sits at 10,000 words and counting. I've got 1 more scene to finish writing then I'll do my normal pre-reading / spell-checking and it will be uploaded. Can't say exactly when, but I expect it to be some point by Monday/Tuesday at the very latest.
