Every once in a while, you come across something, or you have a thought, and you think, "Gee, I wish I'd been able to use that." This is one of those times.

I recently rediscovered Phineas and Ferb on Disney+. Just watched Candace Against the Universe tonight...and dang it, I wish that this song had existed back when I was writing Many Happy Reunions.

Ah well. Would've had problems incorporating it anyway.

Folks, I've made a minor tweak to the contents of Chapter Seven to Many Happy Reunions. Fixed an issue, and provided a little foreshadowing as well.

Many Happy Reunions, as I pecked away at it, had plenty of bits that ended up on the cutting room floor. Amongst what got left out...

- A scene where Filthy Rich deliberately directed Hot Trail and Roxy towards the Everfree Forest in their search for Quiver Quill. I cut this because it seemed out of character for him.

The second and final epilogue to Many Happy Reunions is now up and online. Expect a blog post in the near-future with more details about the story and how it came to be, as well as a few hints of what might yet come.

The next couple days are going to be busier than I'd like, so I've gone ahead and released the seventh chapter to Many Happy Reunions. Here's hoping that folks enjoy it.

Epilogues may or may not end up being posted earlier than planned too.

Chapter Seven for Many Happy Reunions is coming later this week. Friday at the latest. The epilogues are due out a week later.

I've been rethinking things, and I've come to a decision. A chunk for what would have been the first epilogue to Many Happy Reunions is going to be cut and moved to another, later story, and a new chunk will be written in its place.

My planned release dates are still set, however, so don't worry about that.

I've completed work on Many Happy Reunions at last. Barring small tweaks or edits, it's done.

Chapter Seven will be released on May 3rd, and the two epilogues will follow before the end of that same month.

The plot bunnies have been multiplying of late, and I'm finding myself strongly tempted to either A, expand an as-yet-unwritten chunk to the first epilogue to Many Happy Reunions and turn it into a third epilogue, or B, still expand it, but instead make it into a prologue for a future story.

Might end up going with the second one, but I'm curious about everyone else's thoughts.

Chapter Six for Many Happy Reunions is up and online some hours earlier than I'd previously planned.

As for the rest of the story, Chapter Seven is between half and three-quarters done, the first epilogue two-thirds, and the second is completed and ready to go. As I get closer to getting them finished, I'll announce a release date, but odds are, they'll be out sometime in May.

Chapter Seven for Many Happy Reunions is going to reference an episode from Season Five, and effectively render it non-canon to the Quiververse. Now before anyone starts making wild guesses or speculations...

One - Bloom and Gloom is already unlikely to happen at this point.

Two - Amending Fences has already happened within the events of the Quiververse.

Three - Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep? has been prevented at this point.

Chapter Seven for Many Happy Reunions is about halfway finished. The first epilogue is two-thirds finished, and the second epilogue has a little bit of work done for it. Maybe more will be done before I call it a night, but for right now, I think I've made good progress.

EDIT: More got done. The first draft for the second epilogue is now complete and awaiting review.

As of today, I've begun work on Chapter Seven and the epilogues for Many Happy Reunions. Got my fingers crossed that more will get done with them tomorrow too.

And in other news, Chapter Six is still due out a week from today.

Chapter Six for Many Happy Reunions is, as of right now, completed. Might get a little tweaking done in the next couple weeks, but otherwise, it's done.

And I am so very glad for that.

I'm still optimistic that Chapter Six for Many Happy Reunions will be ready for my intended release date of April 5th - most of the chapter is done, and I just need to finish off the confrontation that the story's been building towards.

Circumstances are making it increasingly difficult for me to sit down and work on Many Happy Reunions - I'm getting ready to move into a new place, and work isn't letting up on me as much as I'd like. A consequence of being a reliable worker, I suppose. The next chapter's still set for April 5th, despite not quite being finished, but after that, things are up in the air.

Any writer will tell you that stories can and often do change as they're being worked on. In many cases, this can be for the better, and I like to think that such is the case with the Quiververse. And I bring this up now because I feel that, with the end swiftly in sight for Many Happy Reunions, it might be a good time to elaborate on what led to it and its preceding two stories taking on their current, final form.

Progress, alas, is slower than I'd like for Chapter Six of Many Happy Reunions. I have made progress thankfully, and gotten to a point that I'd been looking forward to for some time - one which involves a reference to a recent film and the use of an old classic from a pop singer - but the scene itself is a long one and remains unfinished. Hopefully that gets fixed later on this week.

I'm still set for the April 5th release, however.

So yeah, Chapter Six for Many Happy Reunions isn't finished. But I'm over four thousand words into it, and just getting started on a fight scene that will deliver a heaping helping of karma on two characters who haven't gotten any (plus two more who still deserve some).

Not done tonight, but it will be done before the end of this week, barring outside interference. And I'm confident enough in that to announce a release date - April 5th (or thereabouts).
