Just letting you guys know I nearly redid the entire last chapter because of a few complaints I got. (In case re-publishing didn't work.) They were definitely valid, even if I didn't agree 100% with the reasoning behind them, and now I think my story's much better because of the changes I made.

I've actually been thinking of adding some collaboration into 'The New Hive' since its inception. I can't really create a realistic representation of humanity all by myself after all.

I know there are a lot of problems with collaborations, the worst being people saying, "No, that didn't happen." However, I think I've added some pretty strong safeguards for anything anyone could think of. That said, I'd much rather not have people trying to derail my story, thank you very much.

It's weird, even after so long, I still feel like I know the personalities of all my characters very well. I suppose it helps that I reread my story, but still, I normally forget everything I learned 10 months ago.

Unfortunately, I lost some of my files, which slowed things down.

In a way though, it also sped things up: for example, instead of creating a map for areas, I could just write down the important details about them...
