It's time...

I made a promise that I'd keep up a good pace now that my life is in a better place. And now I have the second to last chapter.

We're nearing on the home stretch.

Sat down today, the day after I published the latest chapter and wrote the first 2,000 words of the next chapter.

See, I never really stopped working on my creative writing stories. I worked out where I wanted them to go and how I wanted them to end. I just need to get it all down on paper. I know that's no excuse for the two-year absence for this story, but I'm trying to make amends for that with regular updates on how it's going.

It's been a long while since I've looked at My Littler Serial Killer with a close eye and saw a LOT that could be edited and improved.

So, I went through every chapter of My Little Serial Killer these past two days and did a complete overhaul.

I'm about two-thirds of the way done with the new chapter of My Little Serial Killer. That should be posted by the end of this coming week.

So, I became a reporter for a local paper and thought things would change and I'd have a nice, easy life.

What I didn't expect was to be the only reporter for that local paper. A normal week would see me writing at least six full-length stories. I'd also help put the paper together for publication. I was basically an assistant to the editor in all but name. And pay.

Now with that out of the way, gonna take the next few days off and get ready! I leave for Texas on June 2nd and have work tomorrow and Wednesday. Gonna be really busy getting packed and all ready.

Oh my lord!

I had thought at the end of last week I wouldn't meet my deadline. But, on Sunday, I sat down and crunched out half of the chapter and this morning after waking up, did the other half.

So now, gonna sit down and edit. If everything goes accordingly, I should have it posted soon.

Things have changed a bit. First I had no job, then I had a 40 hour a week job over summer, then I moved into campus and started working 11 hours a week and got classes out the ass but I'm still working on things!

Alright, so some explanations are in order...

I put all my writings on the back burner for a while with school wrapping up.

For some reason, my University thought it would be a brilliant idea to have midterms, tests, and preparations for finals all within the same space of time.

I was pretty swamped and ended up getting more stuff to do at work and when I'd get done, I'd either get the choice of studying and schoolwork, writing, or get some peace of mind.

Hectic?

I've been working my tail off at university. For like, the past 5 weeks, it's been nothing but tests and writing assignments. Last week alone, I had to write like, four 7-page papers. And it still keeps piling on.

I am quite here, as you have noticed from the last story update and I'm sorry for being so quiet, it's just my classes have been a huge pain and then there's the fact I've had quite a few breakdowns this semester. And to top it all off, I was in a car accident, so I haven't been having the best of times. Still managing to write, though which is a plus.
