I have been experiencing delays and setbacks unconnected to any sort of lack of drive to write (IOW, I keep getting roped into my Dad's pet pseudo-engineering projects).

Goodness gracious. With a family vacation to Walt Disney World at the end of the week, I've really been letting myself become distracted from my writing. As such, I anticipate that the next chapter for The Elements of Friendship will be posted Wednesday afternoon. I really hate having to delay this chapter again, but I am not as close to the end as I would like, so I am going to have to give myself another couple days.

The next chapter of The Elements of Friendship will be delayed until the afternoon of the coming Monday, a delay of three days to allow myself more time to work on it. Work on Chapter 13 has been surprisingly slow, and I want this chapter to be the best that it can be. I'd rather not rush.

As a secondary announcement, I will be in Walt Disney World from 19 September to 27 September, and so there will most likely be no work on The Elements of Friendship during that time.

As of this week, The Elements of Friendship will be updated either on Monday afternoons or on Friday afternoons. This way, updates will not take two weeks, but there will be at least a ten-day break between chapters.

In retrospect, perhaps I should have waited until the day after Memorial Day to post the succeeding chapter of The Elements of Friendship.
