Alright. I've got to come clean: I've been slacking off.

You see... there was a month-long event in World of Tanks where, in order to earn things (and it was a lot of things), you had to earn a certain amount of experience every day. And a friend of mine and I decided to give it a go.

Well we didn't realize that, alongside days where the two of us were on fire... we'd have the days where we had to slog through the requisite experience. It took more of my evenings than I expected it to.

The first draft lives!

It only took me only six months! Jeez.

Even the month-long break for the oneshot isn't an excuse for this... Although, really, Just an Assistant helped me bust through some writer's block, and I found myself writing larger chunks more consistently after I finished it, instead of a slow burn of a couple sentences a day.

Alright, I'm a little reluctant to reveal there were more significant edits to the Prologue and the events therein. I think it's definitely better, but I also want to summarize them so that a reader doesn't have to reread them to see the new edits.

So it was pointed out by a solicited advisor, (Okay, I submitted the fic to a selective group) that my punctuation in Elemental ReSearch was not up to snuff. And I had to agree, there were enough glaring issues that they basically could not be ignored. How could I expect someone to take this fic seriously if I did not put the time and care to ensure that it was correct English? So now I'm going back through all my chapters with a fine-toothed-comb.
