So, I haven't mentioned this much, but I'm a 80's kid. As a result I grew up with some, or a lot of dark fantasy movies. It's hard to remember which.

Last year I started playing Elden Ring finally, fully reintroducing me to the genre. And over the last weekend I played the Diablo 4 open beta, which shows a lot pf promise as a game. It has also provided some inspiration for my writing.

Okay so my mouse troubles have been resolved for a while now and I can resume working on my stories. I have decided that I will take down The Witching Hour: As the Tempest Rages during the revision process until the first chapter is revised.

As for what went wrong, well it's simple. I got ahead of myself and started introducing a plot point far too soon. The first arc of the story should be focused on Midnight's discovery, journey to the islands, and her interactions with the islanders.

Okay everypony I have been trying to work on the third chapter for As the Tempest Rages when I ran into some rather serious problems making headway.
