See, I have a few ideas of what I want to put into the next chapter. However, I really don't know if there's going to be enough for a two-thousand-word chapter, let alone the three-to-five I sorta promised in the last chapter.

I know it's been awhile since I wrote any chapters for the tagged story. Much of that is because I've lately been focusing on LRSF the last week or so. And the block of chapters I recently put up for that one is the single largest block I've written in a short period of time.

I know that there are probably a lot of you out there that think a world doesn't need a system of beliefs.

And you'd be right; it's not completely necessary to have a church or any such thing.

The reason I have one is that even though a civilization doesn't need an organized religion to survive, most have one anyway. They form as a result of the people's desire to explain their world.
