Ah, but tonight is my 14th anniversary, and my other is...away on business, leaving me with nothing but chicken wings and bowls of words to sort out. I shall seek the distractions of a friend to have dinner with (I have few local ones - lack of time), but there's a bit of alas all the same. Life is just so busy.

Who cuddles the busy ponies? Hark and rapture and all that!

Only got one chapter edited today, but that's fine. Just one chapter left... though I still want other opinions on the arc as a whole, and I still gotta find some cover art, and so on...

Finally got the last chapter self-edited! Which means I'll start looking for additional help in earnest tomorrow. Still working on finding a cover art, though, but it involves me rewatching nearly all of the Equestria Girls stuff so it's fine.

It's been given the okay by its editor, so once I give it one final look-over myself I'll finally publish it. That will probably be on Thursday or Friday, though, since Wednesday is a little busy for me.

If anyone is interested, I just managed to make some more modifications to “A King’s Grand Entrance”, mainly because I noticed that there were still some past tenses that needed to be replaced with present tenses, to help the story give you the impression of what’s happening now rather than before. I wanted to make sure everything was perfect in terms of grammar and tense.

I had a few doubts about how many words I'd be able to write today, though it was more due to not being sure exactly how the scene should proceed. But I figured it out, and it ended up coming out really well! I got 1,082 words done today, and I can practically smell the end of the chapter drawing near.

Current total for the month is 24,203!

Words didn't flow nearly as well today as they have other days - only 1,012, but at least I made my daily goal. The main reason for the difficulty, at least on my end, is cause I started my first proper Pie Sisters chapter of Synchrony today. As you all may have noticed, I haven't focused heavily on them since... well, Hold On. Just a few brief looks in the 'Clock Strikes' chapters of the current fic. A very solid 1,124 words written for Sunset today! I'm pretty pleased with myself; I'd forgotten how much fun the particular interaction I'm focusing on this chapter could be. Though the particular setting within Ponyville has required me to go back and rewatch a few scenes of pertinent episodes to make sure the details are right.

Anyway, I hope you're all doing well. My cumulative total for the month is 18,290! I'm doing well.

A pretty solid 1,088 words today! Again, not a whole lot else to say. Next chapter of Sunset should be posted early next week, probably Tuesday? Might have to take a day sometime this month to do some general planning as well for both my fics, getting Synchrony aligned with itself (and maybe find it a cover art) and hammer some more ideas out for Sunset since I've been making up most of it as I go along.

Anyway, word total for the month is 11,679.

I'm beginning to loose motivation to work on my fics. I want to to finish them and I know how they will end. it's just i'm loosing what it takes to finish them. So if i'm taking longer to update that's the reason. I've never been good with these blog posts but i do want to thank those of you who have tracked liked and favorited my stories.

Some fairly good news tonight - I've written another 1,238 words for Synchrony (putting it at 3,813 total so far), and know how the rest of the chapter is going to go. Assuming I can get all the time to write that I want, I expect it to be done this Thursday. Which is pretty great, I think!

Not much to say tonight, I'm still chugging along just as planned! I got 1,061 words done today, getting through - surprisingly - most of the penultimate scene of the chapter. Well, possibly most of it anyway. Depends on where I decide to end the scene.

Either way, I'm now sitting at 11,429 words for the month!

Hey all! I'm pleased to report that I'm back on track in terms of daily word count - managed to get 1,149 hammered out today!

Even better news, there's practically a 100% chance that I'll finish this chapter of Synchrony tomorrow! Though I'll have to decide then if I want to keep going onto the next chapter of Sunset in Ponyville or not.

Hello again! I wasn't able to write anything yesterday, but today I managed to get 1,043 words done for Synchrony - putting the chapter at 2,251 right now. Things are progressing on track, and assuming I can actually write every day it really shouldn't be long before it's finished.

1,046 words written today, mostly just rehashing what had already been seen in a previous chapter. But such is the nature of Synchrony and its multitude perspectives.

13,926 is the new cumulative total for the month. I hope you all had a happy Mother's Day!

It's that time again! It was another fantastic day today - not only did I write 1,130 words, but I'm also basically at the sweet spot where I know how the rest of the chapter is gonna go! Not sure what the final word count of the chapter is gonna look like, though.
