I know I haven't posted anything in a while, my life got flipped upside down. not gonna bother going into detail, just the next chapter of KOTD that I wanna edit is a big one. I'm saving the next new chapter for when I feel that my beginning chapters are better. I'd like to draw more people in and I'm sure after they got halfway through the tragedy of chapters 1-11, they probably gave up.

Alright everypony! Been in a bit of a funk lately but that's over with now! Thanks to the kind words of a few individuals, I'll be releasing a bunch of content today!
The first is the newest chapter to King of the Dead! I gotta warn you, it's full of feels, and I'm tempted to toss out a trigger warning, but it should be ok haha!

I keep looking at how many chapters I've edited, vs how many I have to go and it just seems so daunting. I know later chapters will be a lot easier, like 20s or so, but still....

Holy crap there were so many typos! I'm friggin shocked! I thought I had written this when my standards had improved, but apparently not! Maaaan editing 8.8k words takes a while. I haven't reread chapters 30-40 in a looong time. It feels so weird cause there's scenes I completely forgot about so in a way it's like reading my on book for the first time. I wonder how it would feel to have amnesia then getting to read your own books. Anyways, besides weird formatting and some sentences that could use sprucing up, didn't find much in the way of editing. Man Linkin Park really helps with editing these more emotional chapters.

Added in some extra dialogue, some better descriptions to better depict how people are feeling. I think the entire thing flows better now. I stil gotta watch how I keep starting every sentence with "I did this" or "I did that"

*Cracks neck* sweet lord these long chapters are murder. I mean yes they're long, but I've read them so many damn times, especially this chapter. I had spent a long time trying to make the descriptions short, sweet, meaningful and poetic. I still saw some previous dialogue problems, back when I'd say the body language of who's talking, then put in a comma, followed by the dialogue. Another longish chapter, but I think I started editing this one but never finished. There was a lot of basic dialogue that needed some sprucing up and plenty of room for more flavorful vocabulary everywhere. Didn't see much in the way of editing, besides a few unclear descriptions and actions. The ending seems s tad cliche, but this can't really go any other direction. Good news is I have chapter 34 done bad news is I'm still working on chapter 33. There's a lot in this chapter so I'm making sure everything is perfect, then I'll have to wait for my prereaders to give it a once over. Thanks for your patience!

I finally finished it! Thank you everyone for being so patient! The past few weeks have sucked ASS! Do me a solid and leave me some feedback on this next chapter, please and thank you?

I know I said I'd be posting one more chapter then doing massive rewrites but...

I really wanna just continue the story for a bit since you all were so patient with me. I'm already a 1000 words in on my next chapter. What is everypony's opinion so far? Are you finding the trial interesting? I wanted to take a small break from all the combat since it takes so much time to write and describe everything. Feel free to message me your predictions, but please don't post spoilers publicly.

No matter how hard I tried, this chapter just keeps coming up short. Everything I try to add, breaks the flow of the chapter. I wanted to lengthen it, but there honestly isn't a good place to do it. I'll come back to it later I guess.

Next chapter is going up as long as I don't accidentally sleep through prime time!

Didn't see much in the way of editing. This chapter still feels a tad messy for me, so maybe I'll come back to it.

Alright, there. Spruced up some descriptions and explained some more stuff. I'm in this middle ground of wanting to explain Taraskan protocol, and not wanting to bore most of you with ideas that you won't care about.

I'm on chapter 5 currently for editing. Ugh some of these chapters are just so...sloppy. Like some sentences are bland and disorganized, others make me wonder how they got past my editing. In my defense, I was still rather new at writing.

Got a bit of work done on the next chapter and I finished editing chapters two and three!

This dialogue was irritating because there's a ton of dialogue that has to happen at this time. I tried to break it up with a few brief moments of interactions between characters and backstory, but it still feels dull to me. This is also one of those ties where I wanted to hint at something, while secretly planning something else. There's still that worry of it coming across as bad writing, but owell.

AAAGGGHHH! I've never tried to describe people doing choreographed dances before. Describing the beat of a drum and fire twirling, I just...uuuggghhh. I already wrote everything in the chapter that isn't dance/music related and it feels like I just have this massive hurdle.
