Progress has officially started today on Chapter Five for Tales from a Double Date. Alas, work is likely to make things difficult for further progress, at least until next week. Because I requested Sunday off in anticipation of needing the time to recover from my convention (as well as drive home), I have to go in this coming Saturday. Six straight days at work...again...

I'll live, however.

Chapter Four for Tales from a Double Date is at the point where I'm happy to declare it finished and ready for release. Said release will, in spite of my work schedule for next week, come a week from Saturday.

I've got my fingers crossed that I'll have a little bit down for Chapter Five by the time said release occurs, but time will tell as it always does.

Tales From A Double Date continues to be a little more difficult to get put down than I'd like. I'm getting it done, a little bit here and there, and I still think that I'll get the next chapter done before its planned release date, but it's still harder than I'd like it to be.

The chunk for Chapter Four for Tales from the Double Date that I started back on Tuesday is finished and done. I still have plenty more left to do, but still, stuff is getting done, and with any luck, my vacation time will be very productive on that front.

Incorporating a little bit from the recent comics and fixing a few minor continuity gaffes with this one. Something tells me that folks won't mind too much.

I'm pleased to say that work is continuing to progress on Chapter Four for Tales from a Double Date. By some miracle, I've gotten past two of the biggest hurdles I've had to deal with - my unwanted housemate appears to have finally accepted that I have issue with the living room television being on all day and is opting instead to use the television in her bedroom (yay on multiple fronts!), and I managed to come up with a good name for an antagonist in the final half of the story.

So, repair guys have picked up the old TV, and I've purchased a temporary replacement from a coworker. All is well except for one thing - I can't turn the thing on to make sure it works because I can't find the power switch and I don't have batteries to fit in the remote.

Meanwhile, tried to get writing done today. Managed very little due to a combination of current weather conditions and all the headaches related to the TVs. But some of something is always better than all of nothing.

Got more done today on Tales from a Double Date. Yay! And while it looks like it's gonna be a hot one and I'll still have to deal with my unwanted housemate, I think Tuesday will be productive on the writing front as well.

Finally, after what feels like an eternity, I sat down and did some writing today. It's not much, but a little bit more is done on Tales from a Double Date.

I'm hoping that Saturday will see a little bit more done with it, but we'll see what Saturday brings.

Chapter Three for Tales from a Double Date is either finished or very close to being finished. Expect it out on April 24th.

I'm likely going to have the next Vignette out in May to help buy some time to write the next chapter. With luck, I'll have it done and finished before the end of May, and make some headway with the following chapter by the end of June.

What will be the third chapter to Tales from a Double Date is almost done. I'm likely to have it set and ready for release on April 24th. I want to give myself a cushion, however, so expect the next Vignette to come late in May. With any luck, that'll give me plenty of time to get Chapter Four ready for release in June.

The good news is that today, I was able to sit down and get some writing done. This is thanks mostly to me getting up an hour earlier than expected, and netted some positive results - expect me to establish some hard facts for the pony versions of the Shadowbolts next chapter, and hint at some more stuff that might encourage speculation.

Productivity actually grabbed hold of me pretty damn hard today. I'd be doing better with it if not for the housemate, but I think I've broken out of my writing rut in regards to the next chapter for Tales from a Double Date. At this rate, I might have it up and online this month rather than the next Vignette.

Actually did get the chance to sit down and write today, so more's done for Tales from a Double Date. Headphones and the restoration of my musical library has helped to distract me from my housemate's TV viewing. Fingers are crossed that I'll have the third chapter done within the next couple weeks.

I'm going to go ahead and release that next Vignette on April 24th, however. Hopefully the extra month will give me the chance to build up a buffer.

I've got a bad feeling that I'm going to need to bust out a Vignette for April, given the lack of progress that I'm making on Chapter Three for Tales from a Double Date.

Chapter Two is still set for this weekend, though.

I tried to get more done today with Tales from a Double Date, I honestly did. But between my actual headaches and the usual culprit, I'm not getting nearly as much done on it as I'd like.

Maybe I'll get lucky and get more done next week, but I'm not feeling optimistic about it.

Also, apologies for whining. I don't like whining, but damn it, I need to vent somehow.

I've gotten a little bit of writing done on most of my days off this month, despite the (admittedly unintentional) distractions caused by my unwanted housemate and a very needy cat. Might not be my best work, but better average stuff than nothing at all.

In any case, at the rate I'm going, Chapter Three will likely be finished well before the end of March.

I'm a civilian. I've never served in the military, knew full well that I wouldn't do very well in such a setting. And yet, here I am, working on a story that revolves around characters who are active military, and doing my damnedest to not get it absolutely wrong.

But I'm bound to make mistakes, and sincerely hope that folks can forgive me for them.

Work continues on Tales from a Double Date. Chapter Two is still set for March, and Chapter Three will likely follow in April.

Unless I change my mind again, though I doubt I will, I think the second chapter for Tales from a Double Date is finished. Expect to see it online on March 20th.
