Well, I'm feeling better and working on Chapter 10. I like some feedback due to me revealing more of the plot and some other tidbits of information.

I want honest feedback please make comments on the doc and tell me if you like or dislike sections. I'm a little worried my earlier bout of depression affected my writing.

Prince of Dreams, Chapter 10

I’m suffering from depression, not sure what bothering me really just a general bla feeling.

It affecting my writing I’m only 3,000 words into my next chapter of Prince of Dreams. I try to work on it more this week and hopefully I have it ready for my Editor soon.

Please be patient as I fight the blues.

I added a few things to chapter 9 author’s notes and here so you don’t have to bring it up again.

There are a few interesting details that you might have missed.

1.) Pinkie Pie is so not acting like the show’s Pinkie pie. She terrified of Nightmare Moon. Noticed how NMM called her a parasite?

2,) Morning Dew ran right through NMM where Morpheus can touch NMM. This even surprises her. There is a story reason it not a mistake lol.

So Chapter 9 done and I had some story clues sprinkled through out.

Seems like there not much talk about them in the comments so… I’m wondering if I made them too vague.

So did you notice anything?

Okay, I re-re-rewrote chapter 9. However, I want someone to double-check to see if I had left any gaps in the story flow.

I don't want Grammar or Spelling corrections, this is just to see if I had the wrong name, or a sentence is out of place. Or it just sounds weird.

I like to know what you think about my characters David/Morpheus and Morning Dew.

How are their personalities coming through? What do you think of them? And what do you think might become of them?

I’m asking because I just noticed I might need to change something in Chapter 9. More notes going into the trash.

However I think the outcome will be much better.

I just finished the rewrite of Chapter 9. Now my Editor needs to look it over again, hopefully no major changes are needed.

I am now fully vaccinated with the Maderna vaccine. The downside is that I feel the side effects, muscle pain. As of right now, it's going away and I should be back to normal this Wednesday.

For the story, Prince of Dreams I'm halfway done with the rewriting my Editor wants. The changes were needed. I reread and took the advice, they are indeed improvements.

I’m finishing up Chapter 9 of Prince of Dreams when a few issues arose.

It has to do with Nightmare Moon involvement with David/Morpheus. I like some minds to bounce ideas around with.

Use of Discord server would be very helpful, but not needed. Send me a private message.

Simple question, David/Morpheus will meet Nightmare Moon on his garden island. She can't physically harm him but tries to torment him and she has Morning Dew convinced she was trapped. What would you say to convince her she was wrong?

I will give credit for any good ideas!

Okay I have a question for you all. Have I explained how I think magic might work? Is there anything you want answered that I haven’t covered or need to explain better in the story? I want to know what I might need for David’s magic lessons.

I won't be having a nightmare in Chapter 8, but I would be writing a few more nightmare scenes.

What I would like are ideas for Nightmares to happen. Morning Dew's nightmare was spawned by her feeling of being alone and the destruction of the City of Everfree.

Her Uncle Surestrike is dreaming of being attacked by shadow creatures.

I would like a few more ponies stuck in nightmares. So any ideas? and I will be giving you credit in the author's notes.

My Editor is I’ll, they don’t know what it is (hopefully not Covid) however they are unable to edit my story at this time.

Everfreepony is the Fimfiction name send some support and well wishes. I’m sure just knowing there are friends hoping for a fast recovery would bring a smile.

This does bring me to a choice, 1.) wait or 2.) Post unedited and replace it later. Vote now.

I still have other stories to write and I could start Chapter 8.

There was a lot of abstract thoughts in this chapter before. A bit too much I was stuffing too many ideas in at once.

Real life is still being a royal pain in the plot. Due to this my Editor Everfreepony is still working on making the mess of my writing into something presentable. So it might take a little longer till I post Chapter 6 of Prince of Dreams.

I like to have some people to chat with and help me fine-tune ideas. This isn't editing I just want honest opinions and to be a sounding board for thoughts.

Mix-Up did this awesome image. After talking with him he darkened David's fur color to match Nightmare Moon's own shade.

I got the very talented Mix-Up to do a custom cover art for Prince of Dreams. I really like how he has that realistic style of Pony art I wanted for my story.

I really thought I was done with Chapter one. I had two prereaders, and then an Editor shows up.

I'm very happy that I found EverfreePony he not just correcting my problems, but also give me a chance to make the corrections myself. I'm learning, or I hope I am.

Now Chapter 1 been re-edited and I just Cut and Pasted it replacing the earlier chapter.

Chapter 2 should be finished soon.
