When posting an editing request in the forum, I recommend following this format:

[Name of Story, with hyperlink]
[Genre]
[Length/planned length ; optional]
[Summary of concept]

[What kind of editing you're looking for]

[Additional Comments]

Of course, you aren't required to post threads in this format. However, if you do choose to break the mold, make sure to include the same information that this basic format contains. The goal here is not to demand conformity, but to effectively communicate to potential editors.

Another tip is to prioritize proper spelling and grammar. Taking time to ensure your request is written correctly communicates your proper writing practices to potential editors.

In case you don't know how, this is how you add a hyperlink.

1) Highlight the text you'd like the link to be attached on.
2) Click the icon that looks like an anchor.
3) Paste in the url of your link.
4) Hit OK.
