It has been two year since the Lunar Coup had failed to take control of the Equestrian Throne and with it, span the Kingdom of Equestria into chaos and civil war. Two new factions have been drawn on the map:

The Solar Empire: The largest and most united of the factions, still gaining much supported from the locals of Equestria. Earth Ponies, Unicorns and Pegasi remaining loyal to the Crown of the Enduring Dawn. Although getting much support from common and noble families alike, the empire is facing economic calamity with losing major key ports and trading routes by rebels against the Crown. Their capital is the Majestic City of Canterlot.

The New Lunar Republic: The youngest yet fearless of the factions, their spirits of a new age still beating in their hearts all over Equestria. Gaining support from mainly unicorn traditionalists, the republic has found new allies in the Dominion of Griffinstone and the Clan Confederation of Muttnia. Although they've gain support from Manehatten and Fillydelphia, they're numbers and strength is not as powerful as their enemy faction. Their capital is the Sternness City of Griffinstone.

The two factions have won and lost many battles for the empire and the republic, but neither side is winning the upper hand. To make matters worse, a new faction has arise in the Badlands. With vengeance in her heart, Queen Chrysalis has raised an army of Loyalist Hive Changelings and found new allies. Dragon Lord Ember, after finding out Equestria's crime of stealing dragon eggs to make them pets to star pupils, sent her forces to join Chrysalis in the name of justice. Seeing Chaos ruining their lands and having their homes getting destroyed, the human City-States of Hominum declared their independence from Equestria with Highlord Soluto Bellum sending his forces to join Chrysalis in the name of freedom.

Now with this new faction focusing on Equestria under the leadership of Queen Chrysalis. Will the war-weary empire and republic join forces? And if so, will they come out victorious or under the thrall of the Hive Alliance?
