The letter gods, at their annual meeting, realized that Equestria still had that silly pictographic language and decided to send the best letter, letter a, to the pony world and start the overthrow of the Equestrian Alphabet.

Then, Celestia told the ponies to "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" so they "aaaaaaa"d for the rest of their lives, or until the rest of the letters were sent.

The pre readers, realizing their folly, Attempted to launch a satellite containing all the other letters to Equestria. However, their was a snafu, and the rest of the alphabets was sent with the webdings font instead of sanserif. now ponies could only speak in symbols

it was only expected that ponies all over would learn this new system of writing. and for the most part this was true, ponies all over welcomed this change optimistically. but there was one pony whose intentions were far overlooked in this observation. none other than rainbow dash. to think that anypony could expect rainbow dash to take time out of her busy schedule to learn some complicated writing system. she quickly became known all over for her outspoken nature, even going so far as to challenge celestias authority. and as quickly as she stepped into the public eye, ponies all around amassed under her far reaching voice. they had had change after change forced into their life by celestia, and this writing system was just the last straw.
