If this is about OCs, then never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever have their name contain 'blazing', 'shadow', or any permutations of either word. It doesn't fit into the universe and simply looks awful.

For a story I would go with both ^^ Blazing dawn as a first one in the series and Blazing sword as the sequel
