I got the urge to reread a fic but either I forgot to add it to my favorites or it's been removed. Any help appreciated.

The basic summary is that the main character is possessed by a remnant of the Nightmare. Every night every other pony except for him is forced into sleep and he gets relentlessly chased and assaulted by monsters until the sun comes up again.

A few other details. The main character is a janitor or cleaner of some sort, there was a scene where he has to fight a scarecrow monster in the Apple's barn and it ends in the barn burning down, and there's a scene where he had to escape a hospital after the first or second night.

My memories of it are a little sketchy so hopefully someone else read it. It wasn't a very popular fic at the time if I recall correctly. It wasn't finished either.
