So a trailer showing the new Ponyta showed up today and revealed it's a Psychic-Type instead of a Fairy-Type. Some people seem a little annoyed by that, but others don't seem to mind. As I was watching it, I couldn't help but get the feeling its design was directly based on an MLP pony. I'm betting the whole reason they gave it Psychic-Type was so they could do the horn levitation thing MLP does. What do you think about this?

7016119 HA. Question, if Rapidash is actually an Alicorn, would that make it the perfect Pokemon for Twilight. Considering she too was a unicorn that became an Alicorn. I ask because I'm thinking of giving her one in my upcoming Pokemon story.
