Sorry about the title of this thread, but I couldn't consider how else to bring this up. Yesterday I was watching a WWII documentary about flying aces and there was one featured who, by my reckoning, could be described as analogous to Rainbow Dash. Expert flyer, sharp-eyed, instinctively scanning their surroundings, a bit of a maverick, not really a team player (although there is a point of divergence there), kept getting into trouble about their antics. The whole matter just screams of a more militaristic, war-set version of S6:E7.
