Just to be clear, I'm an American and I believe everyone on this site, in and out of Canada, has a right to know; failing that, it'd be best to copy-paste the url onto a website that can let you download it safely just in case.

In case you haven't noticed, book burnings and book bans are back. Much of what Ray Bradbury talked about in Fahrenheit 451 is starting to happen. Of course Neuromancer also appears to be coming true too.

Ironically, bookburnings started in the Qin dynasty, courtesy of it's emperor and even then, this all happened because he consumed mercury; whatever excuses they had are next to nonexistent, especially with what our countries had fought decades ago...

Emperor Qin didn't order book burnings because he consumed mercury, he ordered book burnings for the same reason any supreme dictator orders book burnings, as a means of destroying information that doesn't declare them as the ultimate authority or doesn't put them in a positive light. The consumption of mercury may have simply made any preexisting issue involving paranoia more pronounced.
